“Exceptional Food, Service, & Atmosphere”
Reviewed September 17, 2011

This restaurant is outstanding. Menu is vegan gourmet and I cannot rave enough about it. We had a squash soup, grilled mushrooms, a risotto dish, and the raviolis. We took dessert home. Service was attentive, friendly, and professional, yet nonintrusive. The restaurant itself is understated elegance.

“Great food, wacky service and the place is just a little sticky.”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

The food is really very good. Great place for Sunday brunch. Could just be a little cleaner and brighter-the decor is dark brown and it just always seems like it could use a wipe down.

“overall really good, but avoid the bbq sauce”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

Pleasant atmosphere, good service and a wonderful menu. Made the mistake of ordering eggplant, which I usually enjoy, that came slathered with bbq sauce. I enjoy vegetarian cooking much more when there's no attempt to dress veggies like they are meat!

“No competition is the only reason to go........”
Reviewed August 14, 2011

I have been to this restaurant at least 5 times and always for brunch because we are near this restaurant on occasion at this time. Usually the server is Mike-I think his attitude represents this place perfectly. ("You are fortunate to be here!") This place is expensive. The employees act like they are doing YOU a favor. For 2.50 coffee expect to ask very nicely for a refill. The food is adequate. Nothing different or special just vegan and since there are VERY few vegan places this is what you get when you go here. I get the impression that the owner/chef is not that nice because they only time he made his presence known was one time we asked what the soup was for my young daughter and then asked the server if she could try a small sample first (couple spoon fulls) and the owner told the waiter Absolutely Not (which I was surprised) so my daughter got the soup and it was "whole foods serve yourself" good but double the price. The reuben ($12.00) is good enough to try and then go home and teach yourself. The breakfast burrito is okay ($12.) and to end on a positive, I really like the tempeh sausage (5.00). Only go here if you have no other vegan place to try. By the way other vegan places include: Blue Sage, Always Cafe, Wild Ginger and the friendly vegan/asian Mi Lah restaurant in philly. Just to name a few. Asian restaurant in Jenkintown too.
