Nothing wrong with the train ride. I've done this a few times. Children seem to love it and you can see into the back of some very nice properties.

“Quiet but Fun”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

We took the train and enjoyed the history. We didn't see any wild animals but thought the view was absolutely breath taking. We may try the dinner train ride to see if that is any different.

“Real Steam Engines--great for railroad loving Grandfathers!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

We took the Christmas ride with our Grandson and it was extremely well done--great looking Mr and Mrs Claus, hot chocolate and cookies, musician, songs--really nice, We went for several years till our Grandson outgrew it--not so my husband he goes on just about every special ride they offer!! He's a real railroad buff and there are other pieces of equipment to look at.
Then we either walk around New Hope or go to Peddlers Village, another nice walking/shopping place.

“Boring”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2012

Rode this train and have to say the first shock was the price for a coach class ticket. $18.95 for an adult, and if you want to upgrade to first class, add on another $6. All that money for a ride that took about 45 minutes total, was so boring I could barely stay awake (how many trees can you look at?). On the plus side, employees were very pleasant and knowledgeable, and the actual train itself was beautiful.
