“A wonderful stay at the Wedgwood Inn!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2012

We arrived at the Wedgwood Inn in the late afternoon and received a warm welcome from Anna, who showed us around the Inn and then to our room. We stayed in Room H, on the second floor, which is in the back overlooking the lovely garden & gazebo. The cozily furnished room is actually a suite, with a small sitting room as you enter. French doors in the bedroom open to a small balcony. Comfortable king sized bed, large bathroom & jacuzzi. Breakfasts were delicious! Owners/Innkeepers Carl & Dinie are hospitable and make everyone feel at home. They are happy to make suggestions about local sightseeing & restaurant dining. We will return!

Room Tip: Photos on the Wedgwood Inn's website are very helpful when choosing which room you want.

The Inn which is really a b and b, is located a short walk from the hustle and bustle of main street, and the bridge into Lambertville, but in a quiet and peaceful area of New Hope. Whether you stay there enroute to New York or Philadelphia or as a destination the stay will be enjoyable.
The property is in pristine condition, and the innkeepers and their staff are warm and very helpful.

I have stayed at the Wedgewood Inn, in the spring of 2010, and their Umpleby house in the spring of 2011 (the date of travel on TripAdvisor is incorrect). Both times, I had a lovely and relaxing time. The owners and their employees are wonderful people, and they helped make my vacation a perfect, relaxing, and joyful experience. I highly recommend this establishment, if you are looking for a quaint, and cozy getaway near some excellent restaurants, and shops in New Hope, PA. Also, their breakfast is very good!

Room Tip: Corner rooms are usually very sunny.

This is a nice B&B, as long as you're prepared for the B&B experience. Wedgwood Inn is a great location in New Hope, because it's easy walking distance to the downtown but just far enough away so you get a break from the hustle and bustle. It's a big house, with large living rooms, small bathrooms, and creaky floors. The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable with plenty of amenities and more for the asking, but when the other guests come in at 1:30am drunk and giggly you hear them in a way you don't if you're staying in a hotel. And there's nothing the innkeeper can do about the inconsiderate guests. We found the staff most welcoming and considerate, especially when we arrived late for check in because we had car problems on the way. This is an old building, and the bedrooms look it in a delightfully Victorian way, but our bed was so comfortable we slept soundly after a long day. Breakfast was delicious, with a little something for everyone, from boiled eggs and whitefish salad to hot muffins and hot oatmeal and fresh fruit salad with granola and yogurt. They have a wide range of room amenities and prices, so if you want to stay at a B&B in New Hope, you can find something you like in the Wedgwood Inn.

Room Tip: Ask a lot of questions about the room choices, because the amenities vary greatly and the prices var...

We stayed at Umpleby House, next door to and part of Wedgewood Inn, with our dog Max. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Loved having a big kitchen adjacent to our room as well, and afternoon tea is offered (sorry we missed it). Max was instantly at home. The pet-friendly rooms are necessarily slightly more "worn" in appearance, I suppose, but that didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful evening at the Wedgewood! Upon arriving, we were greeted by a wonderful young woman. She gave us a tour, map of the area, very welcoming. Our room was beautiful! Stayed in the "H" suite with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. (Had a very large bathroom.)
We are "early risers" and coffee (a must have) was already brewed at 6:30am. Breakfast was fresh, and sooo good! The owners Carl and Dinie, as well as the rest of the staff, were very accommodating we will definately go back!

This is really a terrific B&B! The hosts, Dinie and Carl, take guests warmly as friends and they have a terrific compound of historic buildings from which to select an accommodation, all with artistic individual details. The grounds have a a charming privacy yet it's just a short walk down a road into the center of town. Breakfasts are cozy and can be pleasingly social with an array of tasty offerings that change daily. I've been back several times and look forward to visiting again soon.
