i just came back from spring gulch campground and must say we had a great time. we stayed in the lake front cabin. it was clean, updated and reasonably priced. The staff at the campground were all very accommidating and extremely friendly. The superviser Lisa was easy to deal with and helpfull in everyway. Nothing in the campground store was over priced, in fact i cant remember the last time i paid 50 cents for a fresh cup of coffee or 2.50 for a cup of herseys ice cream. The 2 pools and the hot tub are well maintained, along with the showers and bathrooms. There are many things close by to do such as Dutchwonder land, intercourse town, amish attractions, and the best smorgisbord. This place is GREAT!

Just returned from a weekend at Spring Gulch Campground. It was amazing. Spots are huge, people are so nice, very dog friendly. The location is ideal if you are looking for privacy. If you need any groceries, head to Yoder's. Its close by & so many items are homemade. Already making reservation to go back this summer. Highly recommended!

We were there 2 weeks ago and found it to be one of the nicest campground ever. It is the best of camping in the state parks in nature with the comforts of home. The staff are very nice, You won't be sorry at all for choosing this campground...very spacious sites with enough trees between sites to make it private....Great job Spring Gulch. keep it as is. Thank you for a great stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in a camp site, not a room, The sites were pretty much the same really good and spacious

Our family had a really nice time at the resort..We spent alot of time at the upper pool although the hot tub was nice too..The sites are big and pretty private. We loved Sara the activity girl and we had a blast playing BINGO 2x..The day they tie dyed t-shirts we had to go somewhere so Sara and the young man activity guy ( sorry forgot name ) tie dyed our shirts for us..They were awesome..The resort is a little dated but very clean and EVERYONE was so nice..We'll be back next year !!

Just got back from an extended weekend at this campground. We stayed in a chalet. It was nice but its all the way up on top of a hill if you dont have a golf cart you will probably have to drive to where ever your going, unless your near the store. They have 2 pools, both are nice. A lake w/beach which isnt that great, its very green. The camp store is way over priced. $6.50 for bacon. $10 for a bug candle. We may go back again.

Spring Gulch is not what is used to be...we arrived at 9pm to find no one at the front office and no access into the gated campground. Although we can appreciate the safety precaution we didn't appreciate an office that claims to close@  9pm on weekdays leaving a voicemail message that they were gone for the day at 530 pm. Late arrivals were to stay outside their gates at the overflow section, which would've fine except we had reserved a cabin.  Luckily for us an employee leaving the campground gave us access and we located Park Model#1103. We appreciate the person that came in and left the lights on although I don't see how they didn't smell the place reeking of cigar and cigarette smoke not to mention stuffiness.  Needless to say I slept on my own air mattresses after having moved their kitchen table to the living room.  They claim to be a "resort" and they should consider finding the meaning. This is not a resort, you will be bored and so will your children. Not enough activities for their guest at all. The lower pool has huge stains at the bottom of the pool, the lake is not swim able, the fitness is center is a joke and the day spa depends if they can find someone to perform the service.

I imagine the $ must be still pouring in so they can afford to cut back, I don't see the logic. Expect to pay their resort fee, something other grounds rarely do for what is truly your basic camping experience.  I've been coming here for 10 years, I can definitely feel the difference. Totally disappointed, spring gulch needs to step up their guest services or they will loose the loyal new jersey campers as well as future new campers.

Ps. I had camper guests from out of the country and was totally let down having chosen this location....

We had a great time at Spring Gulch! The staff were friendly and very helpful. A bolt got bent on our camper and within 3 minutes of asking for help, a staff member came by with tools to help fix it. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and it the restrooms are very clean. The pool is gorgeous and also very clean. We loved our stay here!
