This was my first time going in and sitting at the bar, in the past, we've sat at a table, and have had great service and good food. Saturday, I was going in alone, around 2 in the afternoon, for some wings and a couple of cold ones, while watching a Pens Game. The bartender came across as a bit abrasive and "stuffy," she made me feel that she had better things to do with her time. I feel that a minimal amount of small talk is needed in order to make a solo guest feel welcome, but this lasy would not say a word, other than quipping out specials and being an order taker. Twice, a waitress stopped by, as well as a man from the back of the house, and asked the score of the game, and made me feel more comfortable. As far as food, I order a half dozen buffalo wings. Why does this bar not serve wing-dings that are not breaded is beyond me. A full wing is hard to eat, as it is messy and you have to actually brake the bones- that is a huge, huge turnoff for me. If you get breaded dings, the breading soaks up too much grease and sauce. As far as wings are concerned, this place is a failure. Other menu items that I have had in the past were good, though. I will go back, but I won't sit at the bar, and certainly won't order wings.
