We stopped for breakfast about 9am on a Thursday in late September. My parents live nearby, so we have passed this diner many times, but this was the first time we ate there. The food was good. The service was lacking. We had only 2 in our party. There seemed to be about 3 or four women who were all working hard, but seemed confused about what they should be doing. Two different people were looking for a table for us when we arrived, and started confusing each other and us. The juice I ordered was forgotten until I asked for it after I received my food, which was very good, but took forever. I noticed we waited at least 15 minutes more than the people at the table next to us, who ordered just before us. I did notice they were regulars from their conversation with the waitress. Also, the tip from the prior party was left on our table, and when we went to pay, we had to wait several minutes before even being acknowledged. I noticed a party just before us get so frustrated waiting to pay, they just left the entire bill on the table. The staff was either short staffed or need to have their roles better defined..Although the wait staff seemed friendly enough, I did notice one waitress make fun of a customer behind her back as she was leaving. Unacceptable. Probably will not return.
