We had our 3rd business meeting in 3 years at Mt. Airy resort this week. These guys have got it figured out. Rooms were gorgeous, Food was great, and the People were awesome. If I was going to rank the best part I would say its their service. Katherine, Victoria, Philip, and Joe all made sure everything was taken care of.... every step of the way. We will continue to have our events there and recommend you do the same. Thanks Mt Airy for a great experience!

My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway. I got a good deal on Hotwire (less than $200/night), so while Mohegan Sun it ain't, it's also less than half the price of it!

We had no idea what to expect going in so we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel and casino are both modern and clean, our room was very nice (king bed, modern shower), and the staff was friendly. The only restaurant we there we ate at was the buffet, which we actually thought was good compared to some lousy buffets we've been to in Las Vegas or AC. We're not huge gamblers but we did play the slots a bit and managed to break even. There is a spa, but we did not partake so I can't comment.

They have a brand new, beautiful pool that just opened, but unfortunately I can't comment on that either because the hotel website is out of date and listed it as opening later in the month so we did not pack bathing suits! That I was annoyed about. We still had to pay the "resort fee" of $15/day which I find a disturbing trend in hotels. Just make the price the price, stop surprising us with extra fees at check in (they said it's for the valet parking, wifi (unsecured btw), and the pool), all of which are just basic amenities that should be in the price if the fee's going to be mandatory anyway.

We did feel that they could definitely use more bars/lounges. There is just one small bar in the center of the casino floor, and a nightclub that opens at 10 pm each night. No cocktail lounge where you can actually relax and enjoy a drink. They also could use more restaurants or at least places to get snacks or desserts. Because of that we did leave for dinner the second night. It appears there are still renovations underway so hopefully something new will be opening soon.

Overall really enjoyed our weekend. It's not up to luxury casino standards but after all that's not really what it is. Maybe aspiring to be, but not there yet, and priced accordingly. It served our purpose of a couples retreat nicely. We would definitely consider going back if we get the chance.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the golf course side (as opposed to the parking lot!)

We went to Mount Airy over Easter weekend and had a wonderful time. For those of you who remember the old Mount Airy Lodge with the orange paint and wood paneling of the 70's - REJOICE! The entire place has been knocked down and the new hotel is gorgeous! The stone decor and fountains fit right into the mountain scenery. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The casino is just the right size - not too big, not too small. The resort backs up against a golf course. We ate at the buffet, and the food was fresh and delicious. With our player's card, we only paid $16.99 per person for our food, and the liquor is extremely reasonably priced. Who can beat that?? Indoor and outdoor pools are opening in May. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

We are now known as the Mt. Airy Casino people by the receptionist in our doctor's office in the Pocono's. It suits us since this is our place for celebrating our birthday's. The long awaited pool is now opened soon to be followed by new restaurants and an ice creme parlor . The rooms are always immaculate and the employee's are always helpful. The buffet is very good. They have a special seniors day and also some very nice comp's . A very clean spa , an excellent promotions department . As the saying goes , they are the whole package.

Room Tip: I can't because they are all good . However we always prefer the higher floors.

Fantastic weekend. 90 minutes from north jersey. Valet parking and curbside bell service. Friendly check in staff. The room was huge and clean, It has an updated decor. There are 4 restaurants on site. We don't gamble but the casino seems to be extensive. Unfortunately you have to pass thru the casino to get to the restaurants and there is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke that could be annoying.

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere close to home for a two night get-away. We had never stayed at the Mt Airy Resort and Casino but heard great things about it. I was very impressed with the level of service from Lauern at the front desk, the valet staff, house keeping, bellman, casino staff and Resturant staff. All were superb!!! We upgraded to a suite upon arrive, dined at Red Steakhouse the first night. The hotel was undergoing minor construction to one of the other restaurants, but this was absolutely no bother or distraction. I would definetly recommend this hotel to others. Next time we will go with friends and during a weekend do we can enjoy the nightclub. We will definetly be back!!!

We like to go to Mount Airy because of the general all over atmosphere. You are greeted by friendly attendants, they take care of your needs completely, the casino floor is clean and well maintained and the food at the restaurants is very good. We recently sold our home and our real estate agent gave us a gift card for Mount Airy - he knows where we like to go!

Room Tip: I have difficulty walking so they give me a handicapped room which is close to an elevator.
