The rooms are the best I have seen in any casino. Great beds, bedding and very rommy bath rooms. The valet is great . The restuarants can't seem to hadle the business. The dinner is not worth going in too. It takes long time for your food. On a suprise note, room servce is excellent and very resonably priced. They share the same kitchen, so I don't understand the problems in the dinner there. This place has a Mayberry feel, wher every one knows you, which is nice. But in my opinion, food and casinos go together. They need to get the food right. The drink seevers and bartenders are great.

My husband and I were looking for something to brighten our case of the mid-fall blahs. By virtue of a past visit and use of his player's card, my husband received an offer for free overnight accommodations, along with a BOGO buffet and some gaming credits. We booked it so that we could receive the buffet and credit offers at the end of week's cycle- stay overnight- and then get the buffet and gaming offers again at the start of the new week cycle. Having received offers such as these at other locations, we were expecting less then prime accommodations- long dark narrow hallways leading you further away from all the activities. Quite the opposite this time. We received a deluxe king room, with all the amenities of anyone booking through other means. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. By being in the towers, we did not have the noise or smoke that can drift up from the casino floors as in other casino/hotels we have stayed in. There was a mall, a shopping outlet, ski opportunities and the Pocono Speedway nearby for activity options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The buffet does not offer a breakfast offering with the exception of a Sunday brunch. The Diner is open 24 hours for breakfast, hamburgers and other casual dining options. There is an ice machine on each floor, but no vending options. There is a little convenience shop in the lobby for snacks, cold drinks and any forgotten toiletries.

Room Tip: We stayed in the west tower- 6th floor- very quiet. The elevator did make a radom humming noise as...

Mount Airy has very nice rooms although they are not a very good value on weekends. I would recommend reserving a package deal in advance in order to get the best bang for your buck. These are very popular so you must reserve well in advance of your stay. The rooms are clean with comfortable king size beds and a nicely sized bathroom with a stall shower. Being a very discriminating traveler and considering my room cost of $240, I would have expected the bathroom to have an exhaust fan and that the television reception to be in HD. Aside from these minor inconveniences, you will not be disappointed. The casino is average at best and does not have a good history of large payouts. In addition, the casino player cards do not provide much if any comps to your account for the average gambler. Unless you are a big gambler you can skip the cards altogether. During our stay we dined out locally, so I cannot comment on the restaurants at Mount Airy of which there are several. The overall experience is very good and you will enjoy your stay but don't expect to win big......unless you are very lucky!

Room Tip: Request a room on the 3rd floor or higher overlooking the golf course

My mom and I decided to go to Mount Airy Casino for a one-night stay. She just turned 80, and is physically handicapped. I reserved our room via phone several weeks in advance. I asked for a handicap-accessible room, and booked the Escape package (includes $50 for meals, $15 to gamble with, and a coupon book for shopping at the Crossings Outlets).

We arrived early and, since our room wasn't ready, they stored our luggage so we could go to the casino. The slots were not paying at all, but we never gamble with more than we can afford to lose, so that was our choice. Regardless, we spent the entire day gambling and having fun. I do wish they had more $5 blackjack tables, though. And, it wasn't until our second day, just before checkout, that we discovered the non-smoking slots room on the third floor.

Wednesdays are senior citizen days, so we enjoyed the buffet lunch for $10 each (instead of $17), and spent the remainder of our food voucher on an amazing room-service breakfast, which was brought quickly, while the food was still quite hot.

Our room was gorgeous. It was on the 1st floor, through 2 sets of doors (so we didn't smell the casino smoke). Unfortunately, the doors are not operated by pushing a button, so someone must open them, which can be a bit difficult with a wheelchair. The bathroom was huge, with a wheelchair accessible shower, with a bench. The beds were luxurious, although they're high. My mom is 4'7", and we had to makeshift a stool for her to climb into bed. It would be nice if they had a stool in the room, or if the beds were lower, or if they 'knelt' like the city buses.

Every single employee we encountered was pleasant, kind, considerate, and helpful. What a pleasure!

Room Tip: If you request a handicap-accessible room, request a stool for getting into bed. Also, views of the...

My boyfriend and I went hiking at Bushkill Falls, and then stayed at Mount Airy for the night. It was a beautiful resort, and the rooms were large with modern furniture and decor. I would recommend staying on a weekday since the rates for the rooms are significantly cheaper. (We paid about $120 for a Thursday night, and the rates on the weekend ran north of $250) There were countless reviews saying that the food selection in the resort was abyssmal, so we opted to eat at a nearby restaurant for dinner instead.

We expected more for the money. Our room was $309.00 for one night. The room was nice, but nothing fancy. The casino is too small, there are not enough roulette tables, so every one is packed on a Saturday night. Alot of unsavory looking people were in the casino, which surprised me. Would we go back? No.

We just returned from a 2 night stay at Mount Airy Resort. We were very, very pleased. The rooms couldn't have be cleaner, Betty's restaurant was a pleasant surprise (They have the BEST malted milkshakes!) Room service (from Betty's) was fast, hot and delish! With the exception of the front desk staff, every employee from the valet parking attendents to housekeeping were extremely courteous and charming. The front desk staff could use some training on customer service. Not the most pleasant check in / check out experience, but we didn't let that sway us on leaving an outstanding review. We HIGHLY recommend this resort. Well done, Mount Airy, we WILL be back
