Had a great time at Paradise Stream nice quiet romantic place.

The companies website does a great job in marketing the resorts and you think you will be in paradise, then you come here to TripAdvisor and see negative comments that helps bring down your expectations than you get there and have a great time. so don't expect it to be the greatest/nicest place on earth and you will be surprised.

Our only negative thing was the kosher food that they offer to people that keep kosher, its pretty bad.

Room Tip: look out for when they have a good deal on the Champagne Tower rooms and go. I suggest minimum 2 ni...

We have been coming to Caesars/Cove Haven resorts for over 18 years. We will return. This was the first time we stayed at Paradise Stream. Nice smaller resort for alone time with your partner. More casual here. Dining tables are mostly set for 2 person, which is great to not have to be stuck with strangers, listening to some crazy stories or lifestyles. Food was very good here & Breakfast in Bed is a great free perk!! This is a great spot for a one or two night stay. For a week long stay - we would recommend Cove Haven with more activities offered there. There is a well maintained nature trail at P.S. Horse riding is within walking distance. Great Pretzel and Candy factories close by. Beautiful location in the PA hills, but yet close to the Interstate.

Room Tip: Spend the little extra money and go for a room with a private swimming pool. It is definately worth...

Resort is beautiful, quiet and romantic, great for a short vacation with your partner.

Food is just "ok" and my only complain was that there is no option for eating on the property after hours.

Champagne tower is a must!

Like most people that rely on tripadvisor I was torn as to if this is a good option. The good reviews are very good and there are a lot of them and the poor reviews create a lot of concern. We dediced to just go for it and we are happy that we did. The staff was excellent and very accomodating. I would like to point out one person in particular which is Lillie. She went above and beyond to make sure that our expectations were met and she had a big influence on making our trip a plesant one. You are a true asset to your company! We booked the trip thru the starwood web site which had an impact on bringing the cost down. I thought that the best way to write this review would be with pros and cons......

Pros:
Very Accomodating staff that go above and beyond to take care of the guests.
Rooms (ours had a private pool)clean, comfortable and a nice place to enjoy romantic time with your loved one.
Ammenities - Enough to do for 24 hours to relax and also keep busy.
The band M80 was excellent and sounded great.
Food was not exceptional but was good enough. There was enough to eat between breakfast, coctail hour, and dinner to not need to buy your own food.

Cons:
Merle -one of the event people was a total tool. We have the most broad sense of humor but he was flat out mean to some of the guests and his jokes were not even funny. I think more people were hurt by his words than humored. You really need to get rid of that guy. He hurts the resort more than he helps. He never said anything offensive to us but we could see the hurt on some of the guests that he singled out.

It was raining on Friday which is out of the resorts control but it would have been nice to be able to walk to everything. We needed to drive around the resort to attend different activities.

Some of the activities need updating. The shuffle board and archery was in rough shape. We enjoyed takeing the paddle boats and row boats out but it is really a pond not a lake. Would be a little bit better if was an actual lake.

Cost- I agree with a previous reviewer how the cost is just too high for a night in the poconos. If they were able to create a better value it would benefit the resort (more people spending money on drinks) and create better night life for the guests. I understand the need for profit margins but as the attendance indicated... it is too expensive and I think that is a turn off for people. Maybe they could create value weekends that would make it more appealing for couples that are looking for an AFFORDABLE quick get away to spend time together.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade when you check in.

When we checked in, to our surprise they upgraded us to a beautiful Suite with a added pool and fireplace. We also had a pink shaped Jacuzzi tub with a starlight mirror ceiling above, a round bed and a shower for two. The Suite was just renovated and really really clean. We arrived too late for breakfast, so we ate at the Spooner Cafe. Where we ordered a Hamburgh and a Hugh chopped up chichen with peppers, onions cheese and May. Sub. It was really good, but couldn't finish it so I saved it for later. We enjoyed playing some of the acitivies within the Resort. We played pool, some of the games outside, like shuffle broad, horseshoes, and bocce. We enjoyed the outside pool, and hasdseveral drinks around it and at the outside bar
The food for breakfact was outstanding. You could order off the menu or if there was something else you wanted, all you had to do was ask and the waitress checked wtih th Chef.
He fullfilled all our request. And every morning before breakfast, they had in the Lobby, coffee and pastries between 7 AM till I beleive 8:30am. The Dinner menu was just as good and it was the same way. Soup, salad main course and of course the delicious Ice Cream with all the topping you help yourself too. But that's not all, they also serve a sampler plate of desserts. Different every night. It could be a brownie, cheesecake, lemon cake, rasberry cake. About 5 to 6 different items on it. Believe me to die for. There was a Casino right across the rood, with the other couple with us own $1,000. Not to bad ha.
We just had a great time there. Oh almost forgot the entertainment. Live Music, Comedians. DJ, ect. Most were good, some not so good. But just to sit there with your Loved one is enjoyment alone. I know for a fact we will return next year, but this time we will try more activities
at the other properties which we were aloud to use. Everyone there, Thank you for the wonderful time. In fact we even stayed an extra day

My boyfriend and I just returned from a stay at Paradise Stream, we had stayed at cove haven back in march. We had a fantastic time! When we arrived we were upgraded from a jacuzzi suite to the garden of eden apple (aka we went from the lowest level to a suite with a pool in it!) We loved it, sure the decor is outdated, and it isn't the picture of luxury, but if you are in love you'll have a great time. The room was also very clean, which was really important. The best part about these resorts is that when you arrive, you can just relax and enjoy each others company.

There are daily activities, we chose do participate in the wine pairing course which was very informative, and played bingo later on. We ended up winning some money and a bottle of champagne. It is a little smaller than cove haven, but we found that to be very convenient as everything is within a reasonable walking distance. The food selection wasn't quite as large as cove haven's, but we enjoyed everything. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and if you have any questions or concerns they are quick to help.

We also really liked the town, and took a trip out to the Candle Shoppe which was well worth the trip, the basement is haunted and they give you a historical tour. Paradise Stream also runs a 24 hour shuttle to Mount Airy Casino which we took advantage of for a nice night out when we weren't too interested in the night club options. We also had a chance to visit the outlets which are nearby.

Also - The $75 gratuity charge that other are complaining about was always explained to me upfront, and listed on the the email receipts I received before check-in. I think its a great way to ensure guests have one less thing to worry about. Breakfast and dinner are all inclusive so it makes sense to include the gratuity as part of the bill. (Because of the timing of the meals, we never needed to eat lunch, we just brought some snacks) We did always tip bartenders and usually our waiters when it wasn't buffet style. It's the same kids from breakfast all the way to night club hours, so throwing them a five for keeping a smile on and making sure we have a great meal didn't hurt us.

Overall we had a great time, and hope to return to paradise stream in the fall for our anniversary :)

Room Tip: There are only four "Jacuzzi Suites" on the resort, so if you book them there's a good...
