Owner description: Welcome to Paradise Riding Stables, the longest operating and most established riding stable in the Pocono Mountains. Located only 1/2 mile from the Mount Airy Casino, 4 Miles from Great Wolf Lodge, and only 8 miles from Camelback Ski Area and Camel Beach, Paradise Riding Stables remains convenient yet beautifully wooded and private. Paradise Riding Stables was originally founded by Phillip and Eleanor Carson in 1960 as Carson's Riding Stables. Operations were later taken over by their son Kenneth until his death in 2007. In the true tradition of Carson's Riding Stables, Paradise Riding Stables features an authentic trail riding experience through scenic woodlands with competent trail guides and well trained quality horses. It is a place and an experience for ALL to enjoy..."Come Ride With Us!"

“Very nice time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We recently went riding on our trip to Paradise Stream Resort and we enjoyed this a lot. They are very friendly people and the ride is a slower paced but if you ride at a stable they usually are. We also ride at home and they ride at a lower pace. We saw all kinds of deer and wild life on our ride it was really nice to watch the deer. The guide was super. I highly recommend this ride. The cleanest stable I have seen.

“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Avoid this place, it is not as described. The workers are rude, the guides have no clue about horses or riding, and the "trails" are not real, just a gravel track that runs in a circle behind the barn. Complete waste of money. Especially do not buy the "two hour ride", it is even more boring, at a slow walk and not faster paced as advertised.

“DONT GO!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Avoid this place! they are rude, not nice at all, they charge for security (helmet is to rent), the one hour ride is SOOOOO BORING that you can fall asleep on your horse!
You cant do anything even if you are super advanced...
And the best part: one hour ride is actually 30 minutes on your horse!!
Their Pet zoo is actually one sheep, 2 goats and one pony...

anyway, we felt realllllyyyy screwed!!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

i completely enjoyed my riding experience at Paradise Stables, my guide (sarah) was very nice and explained everything that I needed to know in order to have a fun and safe time as we enjoyed our ride thru the beautiful woods . I will make it a point of returning again to Paradise Stables in Mount Pocono PA.
