We stopped off at this hotel at night in the middle of a storm. The receptionist (Christina?) was very friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious and well fitted out. The reception called minutes after we got into the room to enquire if we needed anything.

A good nights rest when we needed it desperately, good value overall.

The only disappointment was the breakfast. Very poor - apart from danish and muffins there was some bagels and the only savory item - hard boiled eggs. I wasnt sure what we were meant to eat those with! The plates were disposable as were the cups, quite a let down.

We found The Quality Inn to be very comfortble and inviting. Check in was a breeze. The room did have a slight musty smell but after a few mintues with the AC on it went away. The room was nice sized and clean. The pool area was clean and well kept as well. Over all I would stay there again without hesitation

Stayed July 4th weekend. This is not the worst place but the rates are pretty high for what you get. There really are no "nice" hotels in this area. Most people don't spend too much time indoors when visiting the Poconos anyway so for a place to crash it's OK - clean sheets, clean bathroom, bad coffee, decent continental breakfast, dated and not-so-clean lobby. Did not see the pool. The staff were nice. Please note misinformation in previous post - hotel is still in the Choice Group.

Called today to cancel our reservations for next weekend due to schedule change, & they have been dropped by Choice Hotels, but could not get an answer why. From reading the recent reviews, I'd say complaints from guests.

Worst, unprofessional customer service. When in doubt about this hotel- call their corporate office!!! We had reservations 3 months in advance and come to find out 16 days prior to our vacation time (holiday weekend) we were notified by a PRIVATE email no phone call indicating our room will not be available. Doesnt give us much time to make another reservation since the area is sold out for the holiday weekend!!!! Corporate office told us on 2 different occassions the hotel was overbooked. Not to cancel our reservation and we are guarantee our room. Management at the hotel says their water pipes are broken in the hotel. Isnt funny if you view the reviews on Trip Advisor back in Dec a review states the same thing about "frozen pipes" but we were told this just happened two days ago. Who would you believe Corporate office or managment?!? Ive stayed at this hotel on numerous occassion. My past experience not one complaint. My thoughts now......I think you can figure it out!

I was very scepticale to stay at this hotel after reading the reviews. I decided to go ahead and keep the reservation as we would be out most of the time. We arrived at the hotel around 12pm and our room was not ready. Around 1pm I recieved a call from the hotel that we could check in. The room was very nice. We had reserved a room with fireplace and jacuzzi. It was very large and had a sofa. The fireplace was only for looks as it did not produce any heat. It did light up and made noise like that of a fire. At night time it looked very nice. The jacuzzi tub was not big enough for 2 people however it was a large tub with jets which was nice for soaking. The beds were the best. They were absolutely the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The room was nothing fancy but it definately served it purpose. The pool and hotub area was nice. The hotub could use a lil updating but it was nice after a day in the cold. The continental breakfast was pretty good. They had bagels, waffles, donuts, cereal, eggs and some fresh fruit. However there wasn't much to drink. You had your choice of coffee, milk and there was water for hot choc or tea. I'm not a coffee drinker so I got the hot choc however the water was not at all hot. Hotel was close to everything. Outlets, skiing and resturants! I had a great experience and I will be back next year!
