“A Winery That Has An Onsite Bakery!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Just outside of Mt. Pleasant, PA, is the Sand Hill Berry Farm and the Greendance Winery. This is an absolutely beautiful location. The facility is surrounded by beautiful gardens with private tables nestled in between the trees and greenery. There is actually a little "shack" where delicious desserts are prepared to order. There is also a bake shop where fresh fruit pies and cookies are baked daily. The wines are very good for Pennsylvania wines, and the tasting room is beautifully appointed. Take time to sample the wines so that you can purchase bottles to take home. There is a selection of pre-made sandwiches, cheeses, and crackers available for purchase. The offerings are so varied that you do not need to bring a picnic lunch with you. This is a wonderful destination for a Sunday ride.

Please note that the Lenox Factory Outlet is about ten minutes away. There are also many good buys to be found there!

“Wine... Strong overall but the raspberry cheesecake tops all.”
Reviewed August 18, 2012 via mobile

The wine at sand hill is diverse... It has the wine staples but also has a variety of fruit wines which are unique. But the highlight is the raspberry cheesecake. Amazing. Relaxed location and a nice place to spend a beautiful day.

“A Great Spot for an Afternoon Getaway”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

We enjoy visiting the Sandhill Berry Farm and Greendance Winery and usually go three of four times a year. In the good weather on the weekends, we can sit on the patio, have a picnic with our bottle of wine and enjoy live music.
