We visited this property for a visit to Pittsburgh for a concert and had a great stay. The hotel is located a bit far from downtown, but was not a difficult drive.
We got a 2 bedroom suite for our family of 5. The suite was huge compared to many others that we have stayed in for a comparable price. It had a true full-sized kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. All furniture and appliances were in great condition and the only "old" fixture was the alarm clock which only had an old-style ipod connector (not lightning style).
The complementary breakfast was one of the better that I have had - all of the hot food was fresh and good (sausage patties, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes w/ peppers and onions, french toast, and oatmeal) with a great selection of toppings for the hot items. The ubiquitous self-made belgian waffles were some of the better ones that I have tried - better waffle flavor and a more hearty waffle than most mixes that are at other hotels.
All staff was very friendly and welcoming.More
