Had a great dinner. Several people raved about the Reuben sandwiches they had. Our beer drinkers were very pleased. There was a band playing. They were pretty good but it was a little loud and they had some difficulty with their equipment. Overall a great place that I'd definitely go back to.

Best microbrew in central pa and have been to all in this area. Food is local and great. Service is slow and usually a wait to seat. Never had a bad meal or beer there. Recommend highly

For starters, the food here is great. We went here for the first time about a year ago, and Al has been trying to replicate their potatoes ever since. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. LOVE that the food is locally sourced. And Elk Creek is more than a restaurant, and more than a brewery; it's sort of the hub of a great and growing vibe in Milheim of eco-conscious, community-minded, artistic, and warm people, and whenever we're in town, we love being a temporary part of it.

I cannot imagine a better Sunday Brunch (order off the menu not a buffet) than at The Elk Creek Cafe. The menu choices offer a large variety and the food is excellent. They use locally grown food items and add their own special twist to make them extra special. The background music is just right for a Sunday morning. Check in at the stand and then be seated. This place fills us quickly with locals and visitors so get there early. If it is a special day such as Mother's Day or Father's Day I suggest making a reservation even for just two people. Large groups can be accomodared but reservations are generally needed.

The brews are great. Good food, often locally grown/produced. The fish and chips are the best in the area.
