A delightful place to stay - very convenient to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob. The hosts are very gracious and helpful, but not intrusive.
Hummingbirds and finches are in evidence around the veranda. Breakfast were tasty and filling. The Spragues are very organized, and were able to tell us how to get to a number of restaurants in the area.
The inn is located in a valley, so no cellphone service, but maybe that's not a bad thing.

Liberty and Jim are excellent innkeepers tending to many details that are often overlooked in other B & B's. The entire inn is immaculately clean...breakfast is delicious and plentiful...tea, coffee and homemade treats are available each evening...each room comes with two bottled waters and mints...and the innkeepers are more than helpful with answering your questions about the area...AND they accomodate special diets with ease and grace.. Country seasons is a gem. There should be no other choice especially if you plan to visit Fallingwaters and the "Knob"

We stayed at this B&B on our visit to Fallingwaters and Kentuck Knob. The owners were very kind - and helpful when needed. And our room was super clean - which is always a big selling feature for me. The porch outside was lovely - a nice place to relax and read. Breakfast was plain but sustaining - the cookies a wonderful treat. Only suggestions would be a luggage rack in the room and side tables on the porch to place drinks. All in all a nice place!

Typically, we prefer doily-free B&Bs, but location was my husband's main goal for the pilgrimage of all pilgrimages to Fallingwater and it didn't disappoint. It took us just a few minutes to drive the 4 miles south to Fallingwater (and a few more south of FW to Kentuck Knob), and we even arrived early for our 8:45pm In-Depth tour. Liberty made it a point to make sure that if you have an 8:45am tour, she will have breakfast ready for you at 7:30am, which she did. Breakfast included coffee/hot tea, orange juice, scrambled eggs & ham, french toast, and fresh fruit. The rooms were spotlessly clean, newly renovated, and well appointed with the basic comforts that some B&Ss overlook, such as two chairs in our room (Summer), hangers, place to put your luggage off the floor, water bottles & mints, plenty of towels, room darkening shades, alarm clock, ceiling fan, and a list of the tv channels. Also, don't forget to snag a snickerdoodle cookie when you see them, as my husband didn't at first, and they were all eaten when we returned! The restaurants in Ohiopyle are very casual places to eat after swimming/rafting, but the restaurant at the Stone House Inn had a variety of tasty, well-prepared dishes and a charming, relaxing atmosphere. The only very minor cons to the B&B are that it faces Route 381 and can be noisy during the day (quieter at night though) due to the large amount of loud motorcycles on this scenic road, the bed was a little soft & lumpy, and our bedsheets and pillowcases had a strong perfume odor that continued to wake me up at night until I covered the pillow with a towel. All in all, we would highly recommend the Country Seasons and would return again.

My husband and I drove out to Mill Run with three friends to see Falling Water and had booked the nearest lodging. What a fantastic treat to discover such a wonderful B&B. Three of us shared one room (with private bath) and were very comfortable. The owners, Jim and Liberty were welcoming, helpful and yet discrete. We felt welcomed to their home more than a hotel. The breakfast was excellent and healthy. The homemade cookies in the evening wonderful! Everything was VERY clean and well kept. We have stayed in many B&Bs both in the US and in Europe and this is surely one of the best. it is also perfect for a trip to Falling Water... an easy few miles up the road.

My husband & I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a visit to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob over Memorial Day week-end. We stayed at the delightful Country Seasons Bed & Breakfast that I found by chance on the internet. Our summer room was very clean and comfortable. Libby and Jim were excellent hosts and very welcoming. Tea and homemade cookies were always available and the breakfasts were delicious. Only in their second year of running a B & B, they are doing an excellent job.

On the spur of the moment we decided to skip the conventional Memorial Day activities at the beach and visit Fallingwater. Using Trip Advisor we selected Country Seasons B&B and were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by Libby and Jim who run a beautifully renovated B&B just three miles from Fallingwater. The room was nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. After checking in we drove to the next town of Ohiopyle, about seven miles away, and had a nice dinner at one of the local restaurants. After dinner we returned to Country Seasons and walked up the lane next to their house to the top of the hill to watch a beautiful sunset. After witnessing nature’s amazing light show, we shared a bottle of wine we had brought from home on the cozy front porch before retiring for the night. We selected a 7:30 breakfast which was delightful. This morning Libby served fresh pancakes, fruit & eggs with ham. A great start to a visit to Fallingwater. We understand that the most popular time to visit Fallingwater is in the fall when the leaves are turning however late May was fantastic. When we return, we will be sure to make reservations at Country Seasons.
