Good service, cold beer, decent portions, and good food. They used to have a lot of baseball games on TV in the summer but not anymore. 'I think they changed from satellite to cable.

My husband and I were actually married at this place, which is also a country club with a beautiful golf course, over 10 years ago. It is now a sports bar and one of the only one of its kind in the area. The portions are HUGE. Beware! We have three young kids and we got one appetizer and a Varsity size sandwich and fries and had enough for all 5 of us. Drinks are also available and there is alot of local sports memorabalia and sandwiches named to honor locals. If you're looking for a salad or something super healthy, this is not the place for you, otherwise we visit this establishment every few months and would go again.

Haywood's on the Green is a great place to go if you have a hearty appetite. The restaurant is decorated in a Steelers theme and also has local sports team memorabilia displayed on the walls. Several large screen tv's play sports games and events.

Sandwiches and burgers are huge, wings are excellent, and entrees plentiful (we've had their tacos (a FOOT long), their burgers, their home-made battered onion rings, and their 'Pittsburgh style' specialty sandwiches. Don't let the prices of these sandwiches fool you...once you see the size you will know why they are priced that way!)

The staff is fun and friendly. For example, we had ordered a dessert called the Brownie Sundae. After a brief moment, our waiter came back to see they were out of ice cream. Noticing the disappointment on my husband's face, he went back into the kitchen and quickly came back saying they were sending someone over to the nearby Wal-Mart to get ice cream! This was an act that went above and beyond. Kudos to the wait staff for making their customers feel valued.

This place sits right on the Clinton County Country Club golf course and is open to the public. Outdoor seating is plentiful where you can look across the greens and enjoy the flowing stream that is feet from the patio. We always enjoy going to Haywood's and never leave hungry. They also have a large upstairs banquet facility and host many weddings. It's a great place for holding parties and a relaxing place to just sit outside with a beer and enjoy the scenery.

I have had lunch at Haywood's many times. The service is good and the varsity sandwiches are huge. I highly recommend the cheese steaks! Reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere is not as refined on the inside as it is outside but it is a sports oriented bar & grill. Good choice for a group of 10 to 20 hungry business friends.

I had lunch with a friend. Service was horrible. We sat on their deck which shook every time anyone walked on it which led me to believe it wasn't too sturdy. Lunch came an it was a greasy mess. I would never eat there again.
