“A Hidden Gem”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This is well worth a quick trip (hour and a half on grounds). The price is very reasonable, the tour is an hour long and the mansion and associated buildings and grounds are immaculate. Great piece of little known history. Our Tour Guide (Allison) was outstanding with her content knowledge.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We visited Grey Towers on Friday June 28, 2013. We had been unaware of its existence or history until a recommendation from a local resident. Interesting, informative and impressive, Grey Towers is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a fee for a tour of the interior, but not for the attractive grounds.

“A delightful stumble”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

I took a wrong turn, and ended up in Milford PA, then decided to follow the signs to somehting historic. The staff on site is informed and make wonderful docents. I happned to arrive in the late afternoon, and was given a tour ($8 and about 45 minutes) with just my self and the docent. The grounds are beautiful and the history is wonderful.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

This is the place to go if you enjoy seeing how the rich really lived! The grounds are unbelievably beautiful. The house tour is very interesting, but you only get to see the first floor. No bedrooms or bathrooms. The upstairs is used for conferences. The Forest Department staff is well informed and articulate. I would go again. If you enjoy American history you'll love this place.

“Very interesting buildings and grounds; great history”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

The home of Gifford Pinchot, founder of the Forestry Service. Fascinating items, great history. The tour is $8 for about 50 minutes, fist floor only. Photos (including flash) allowed, which is unusual for a lot of historic houses. The gardens and grounds are interesting and can be toured for free. The walk is 600 feet from parking lot to house, although there is handicap parking close in.
