“A Natural Beauty”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

The Raymondskill Falls is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area near Dingmans Ferry along Rte. 209. There is plenty of parking with a restroom facility at the head of the trail. The trail becomes quite steep in places, but it is a short hike. Be sure to take each trail so you can view the falls from the top and from the bottom - well worth it! You can see things from each vantage point that you can't view from the other.

After this short visit, travel @ 5 miles South to George W. Childs Recreation Site, where you can see other beautiful falls and have a picnic lunch.

Note: Not for strollers. Awesome beautiful up close falls. Kids loved the hiking up and down the falls.

“Highest waterfall in PA is a must stop”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

Part of the National Parks Service Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Easy 5-minute hike through a hemlock forest to the top of the falls from the parking lot (walk to the right if facing the restroom building) to the first viewing platform, and then a more treacherous, rough steep naturally winding climb down uneven trail steps to the middle viewpoint, which is wonderful and worth doing - beautiful picture spot. Look also the the left to see another little waterfall drop.

Then it's a longer (about half mile) gradual and mostly uphill (sometimes a bit strenuous) hike back - you don't have to do the steps again; follow the trail out.

Can be slippery when wet. Open all year - and if you can get through in winter snow, the waterfall is often frozen and spectacular. The waterfall is long rather than really wide, and lovely, actually only 4' shorter than Niagara Falls. It is dangerous - daredevils try to swim in the deceptively gentle looking pool at the top and deadly accidents have happened here.

Note: You can avoid the steep steps and come in from the second parking lot or start from the left of the restrooms in a longer hike, and come back out the same way.

“Nice view, difficult trail”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

A short walk from the $250,000 composting Loo. Overview path relatively easy. The rest of trail can be problematic if you are not careful. We have came here a number of times. The view from the bottom of Falls is lovely.
