The central feature of this park is a lake fed by cold mountain streams with a beach for sunbathers/swimmers. Picnic areas dot the area near the beach, behind the changing rooms, and on the main state highway that passes through the park. Good place to spend some family time in the cool under the shade of the pines on a hot summer day.

Another great place offered by the state of PA for outdoor activities. Close to central pa, easy to get to, get outside for some fresh air.

RB Winter is tucked away in the mountains and has the usual Pa park formula of camping, hiking trails a spring fed (COLD) swimming lake and beach. It is a nice place to relax and take a break from the rat race.
I the cold winter months there is ice fishing if the ice is thick enough.
