“Great for Grove City outlet shopping”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

I went with 3 girl friends for shopping at Grove City. We got 2 queen beds. We checked in late (11pm) so it was quick. Girl at front desk gave us a voucher for a coupon book which was great. You can also print the voucher out if you sign up on the outlet's website. The breakfast was good except there was only omelette and hashbrowns for the hot food. Would have been nice to have sausage or bacon as well but it was a free breakfast so I guess shouldn't complain that much. They also had a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, selection of muffins, breads, pastries, fruit so there was more than enough food. There was also free wifi which was great. We would have liked to use the hot tub but we arrived too late and the pool area closes at midnight.

This is still the best option for a hotel while shopping in Grove City. So close to the outlets you could walk although there aren't sidewalks and you will end up with too many bags to carry back, you really need your car to make bag drops. I would recommend staying atleast 2 nights here since that is about how much time you will need to visit all the outlets. The hotel was just as I remembered it very clean, great breakfast area, and the pool stays open late which is a great feature. A bit pricey for the suite but if you have a few people to split the cost it is a very nice large room. Will be back again I am sure.

Room Tip: Suites are great and havd a small fride, microwave and sink in a mini kitchenette area. Also very sp...

Great place to stay overnight for shopping at the Grove City outlet!

Room - Very clean

Service - Great service from the beginning! Very friendly and immediately offered us coupons for nearby restaurants and a voucher for the Coupon book for the Outlet mall (which are normally $5 to purchase at the mall). We got a free appetizer for dinner with the coupon for the restaurant!

Free breakfast - Considering it is a fairly small hotel, there was quite a bit of selection. The breakfast included all sorts of bread, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles (yum!), eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, juice, milk and more. It was a good start to my day of shopping and long drive home after!

Location - Less than a 5 min drive to the Outlet. Its walkable, but there are no sidewalks.

Other - There was a business center, fitness room (looks fairly well equipped compared to some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed at in the past) and pool. Facilities that I would use and helpful to have if I had stayed longer.

Value - My friend and I booked last minute, so we paid $169 + taxes for the 1 king bed room with accessibility options. I found this a bit pricey, but all other places nearby with good ratings were booked up.

We stayed at this hotel for a night on our return journey from Toronto to DC. The location of this hotel is perfect for a break during a long road trip. The room was clean and also the towels and linens. The staff was courteous and let us do late check out the next morning when requested. The breakfast was free and was good. It is very close to outlet mall and restaurants.

WHO: Myself, Wife, 9yr old Daughter
WHEN: mid July during mid week.
WHY: Shopping trip
WHAT we paid: $260 US for 2 nights with taxes. Includes voucher for coupon book.

This was our 3rd year in a row we traveled to Grove City for a 2 night shopping spree at the Prime/Premium outlet mall.

We've stayed the top 3 hotels rated in that area - Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western.

All are near the outlet mall and we've had an fine experience in each one... really comes down to what you want to pay.

Of the three, we'll come back to the Hampton, partly because the heated pool was a little larger then the one at Holiday Inn (no pool at Best Western) which was great for the family after a long day of shopping plus some additional touches. The rooms were fine and clean and beds were better then average. The free breakfast was similar to the other hotels but it felt like there was more room in the dining area. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are always available. Those nice touches are at reception where they have fresh cookies and in the room they provided a bag of microwaveable popcorn. Small things, but made a difference when traveling with kids. And yes, with the popcorn was a microwave in each room, and a small fridge.

Only week point was their wireless internet services.. mediocore speed at best, but that was fine since this was a trip for us to unwind and disconnect as well.

Staff were always friendly and attended to any of our needs.

For our 4th annual trip we'll go back to the same hotel, probably even upgrade to a suite for a little more space.

Room Tip: If a suite is a few dollar more, go for it.

We stayed here Friday night. On a previous trip for shopping in Grove City, we stayed at a different hotel nearby, and definitely prefer Hampton Inn.

Why four stars? Well it is what it is - a basic hotel for a night's rest either before or after shopping. The check in was as efficient as it gets. The room was lovely, however noise from the guests immediately above us kept my husband up all night. I don't believe they were overly noisy, i just think the floors/ceilings are "thin". Beds were comfortable, and it was perfectly clean. We actually got a call from the front desk after a half hour inquiring if everything was to our satisfaction.

Unfortunately, breakfast was too busy for the server to keep up, and most of the available options were empty. Housekeeping was at our door by 9am to clean our room, but checkout wasn't for another couple of hours???

My daughter enjoyed the pool. We were there from 8pm to 9am, so essentially we just slept. We'll return to this location again.

Stayed here on June 29th for a stop in our travels along with shopping at the outlet nearby. As expected for a Hampton Inn. Rooms were clean maybe a little dated but adequate for my family of 6. I had a studio suite and it was a good open studio with a king and full size pullout. Holiday Inn was next door but I'm a Hilton guy and would stay here in the future again. There aren't many choices and so this is top in a short list for the area. Breakfast was great and staff were really nice for our entire stay (expecially the front staff). Great value for a good stay. Will be back for more.
