Went to Spasso's with friends. Overall, a good experience. Calamari was recommended to us so we tried it but were disappointed as we have had better. Chewy and too many "spiders." Two of us had the special of the evening with scallops and homemade pasta. The meal was good but the sauce a bit heavy after expecting a lighter cream sauce as explained by our server and was stingy with the scallops. The shrimp and crab dish was good and the veal dish also good. Nice ambiance, nice bar.

Came into Spasso super hungry after a long day and left satisfied. Nice ambience, good service leading up to a very enjoyable meal. My guest had the fish special with grilled veggies (excellent and beautiful presentation), I had the shrimp linguine which I would rate a 7-8 out of 10 and I agree with a previous reviewer..a little pinch of salt & pepper needed to bring out the dish's potential. Poured a decent drink, too. Overall, very enjoyable.

Visiting relatives from out of town came and toured Media and ended up looking for Italian food in town and walked into Spasso. The server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We had bruschetta appetizer which surprisingly had no garlic and four of us agreed at needed a pinch of salt and maybe pepper. Once the main courses came the flavors came alive. Linguini putanesca, penne, peas and pruciotto in a spicy pink sauce and spinach ravioli in four cheese and mushroom sauce all were highly rated dishes. While the dessert looked great, we opted for coffee and conversation.
It was certainly on the high end of quality of food and taste for the four of us and we left sated and thrilled we stumbled by luck into Spassos.

Food was great, especially the meatballs. Even my picky 3-year-old loved it. Excellent service. Will go back next time we're in the area.

We had dinner at Spasso on a Tuesday night. The food was superb. We split an appetizer, 3 entrees & a dessert. The pasta was homemade. Our service was great also. Very fast. The atmosphere I nice, but probably could be loud when crowded with the high ceilings.
