Panera puts on a great lunch and breakfast is getting better. If you are a member of their Rewards Club they will remember your birthday with a delicious brownie or other goodie from the bakery.
The food is always top notch and the Pick Two of half a sandwich and a cup of soup is the perfect lunch.
Soup and sandwich choices change often.
Panera Bread demographics include 20- and 30-somethings armed with computers and various tablets and smart phones. The Panera WiFi does not seem to restrict access to naughtier sites while dining (as do McDonald's and others). Sitting around the fire place with coffee, a Danish and a laptop is a pleasant way to spend a morning.
Food costs at Panera Bread are skewed on the high side but the quality is good.
As I said earlier, breakfast is getting better although it doesn't seem well customer-attended.
