“This Could turn into something good...”

Stopped in here for lunch...the place looks good and the bar looks very nice...the food was ok. Good Sriracha wings...great fries...but the rest of the food was just ok. The meatball sub was bland and the fish in the fish and chips-the breading was good but the fish again was bland. Could not try the items that we wanted to as they don't serve the main menu items until 4:00...so final decision on this place will have to wait until try for dinner. If dinner is like the lunch, will probably just go to Montana's or Timbercreek instead.

“Unfair to review with the waitress we had, will try again if i get the courage”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

visited this new restaurant during the meadville wine crawl and were very impressed.. nicely decorated for the theme they are trying for and nice crowd of varying ages. This was a food stop and their special onion rings and sauces were the offering, nice and crispy, hot and tasty. Owners or chefs were present to give info on the place so we were excited to come back for a night out and try the food. Well that was last evening and all did not go well. Got seated quickly but the waitress we had was totally clueless. Menus given but she did not offer any info on the place, the evenings features, drinks etc. When asked what they offered she said, you know beer and wine and drinks! Finally after some coaxing we got a drink menu and ordered. When asked what the feature drink was she could not explain, just said it was mint! My husband did try it and it was fine as was my cocktail. After we ordered we heard other servers offering the daily drink and features to other customers. Menu has different items than most local places and i believe food items are bought from locals (farmers etc) which is nice for the area for sure. WE waited 15 min for her to come back and take our food order and only then did she after we flagged her down. I had the Alfredo and my husband had the Cannon ball (a special item they make) both entrees were nice and flavorful. Mine was to come with garlic bread which it did not, when asked again our waitress did not know anything about it. More then once we wanted to ask her a question and but she never came near us or even looked our way, we did get other servers to notice us and they seemed knowledgeable and much better noticing customers.Mind you she was not busy with other customers, just chatting and holding up the wall.. We did find out from another server we asked that they have a cigar bar in the back and peeked at the cigar menu, nice for those of you that might enjoy this relaxing hobby. I will say that most of the other servers seemed to be good at what they were doing.. lets hope someone in management takes notice and does some training or supervising. We will probably try one more time before we write this restaurant off, after all not everyone is able to do the difficult job a server has to do, lets just hope they don't lose too many customers before someone notices. If you have read any of my other reviews you will know we are not unreasonable or unfair at reviewing- but as we gave her our money to pay our bill , (tip included even thought we debated about that) she did not even acknowledge it with a thank you!!! Or any other comment!! That can't be excused!
