Had to check in at 2am and they allowed us to. We already had 3 day reservations and they didnt charge us extra. Breakfast was decent, the place was clean. The walls are very thin as you could hear everything going on, but it was a great stay. Thanks for the help!

This is a very nice hotel. We had a comfortable, clean room, although I had to cover up the bright lights on some of the electronics in order to sleep. The breakfast area was also attractive and comfortable and a good place to gather. The breakfast was consistently excellent over the 4 nights we stayed.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are pretty and clean. The whole hotel is well maintained and very clean. A group of my friends meet three times a year to quilt and this hotel is wonderful for us. We keep coming back..

A group of us have been coming to this hotel a couple of times a year for a sewing retreat. In addition to rooms, we use the conference room to sew. The place is wonderfully clean all around. Also, every employee is amazingly helpful in every way. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hampton Inns are a brand of the Hilton Chain. They generally offer a little more for a price point than the competition. That makes them a good bet on the road. Their facility in Matamoras, PA [also Port Jervis, NY] exceeds even this high standard. Location is quite good if you are on the road from northeast to mid-Atlantic destinations. They are just off the highway where Rt. 84 meets Rt. 87 at PA 209. Access is quite easy. While the immediate surroundings don't offer much, the hotel is just a few miles from the Delaware Water Gap with great scenery and hiking. The facility is well kept up. Joseph did a good job at the front desk. Room was clean and comfy. After a moment you begin to notice the small details that tell you that this is a cut above even by Hampton Inn standards: Neutragena cosmetics, plush linens -- nice touches. Breakfast service is typical for Hampton Inns -- that means good. And the desk offers a bagged breakfast for those on the run. This is a well-run facility and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get an off-numbered room that doesn't face the highway.
