Ascot House Bed and Breakfast

This is an excellent Bed and Breakfast with a hostess, Wendy, who is interesting, funny and extremely good in the kitchen! We were welcomed and truly made to feel at home in her lovely home. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A beautiful deck/patio added to our impromptu afternoon wine and cheese get together with Wendy and the other guests. She gave us some excellent advice on restaurants in the area and places to visit. I have not had a better breakfast at a bed and breakfast than I had at Ascot House. Delicious, ample and tastefully presented each morning. I would have loved to stay an additional day or two. Thank you for your warm hospitality, Wendy!

This past weekend at the Ascot House B&B was such a pleasant experience. Wendy is a wonderful, warm hostess who added such charm to our visit. We enjoyed her stories about the history of the area and how the Amish live. She cooks a fabulous breakfast and offers some really nice wine as well.
The Ascot House is beautifully furnished and with roomy, yet cozy rooms.
We stayed in the Suffolk room which, like the others, is large and has a jacuzzi and fireplace. It was the perfect retreat after a day of antiquing and exploring the area.
I highly recommend this B&B; the value is outstanding.

Visiting Wendy's Codd's Ascot B & B was a treat indeed! We started our visit with an afternoon tea, an indugence you might consider adding to your own visit, so worth the extra cost. The food was beyond wonderful and just a hint of the best breakfasts waiting for us each morning of our stay. Wendy truly makes you feel like the most welcome part of your family, a long lost relative whom she has been waiting all her life to meet. The rooms are spacious, with all the comforts of home. Hope we can get back again soon.

Room Tip: One room on the third floor does not have a private bath. All rooms are large and bright!

We are still talking about our stay at your Inn. We always stay at Bed and Breakfasts when traveling and truly enjoyed our experience here. Please do not change a thing. Rooms are a very good size, the gardens so groomed. Quiet and very accomodating.

We stayed at the Ascot house for 2 nights recently and enjoyed getting to know Wendy.

The house, itself, was quite nice, but I rate it as "Excellent" because of the personalized attention Wendy gave us there and due to the fact that she was such an interesting, vivacious and inspiring individual to have met :)

She also made a very tasty breakfast and served a nice wine / cheese. And, the house has a lot of personalized character. A lot of the surrounding properties, including the Ascot House, are considered "historic" so be sure to chat with Wendy about theseinteresting things and she'll fill you in to make your trip all the better!

Room Tip: Get tips from Wendy - she's ever helpful and good for a chat!

I've been to a good number of B&Bs and this one, by far, is the best one I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. You walk through the door and welcomed by one of the nicest people on the planet, Wendy. She makes you feel right at home during your stay. Some of the best rooms I've ever rested my head in. The breakfast is so very delicious. Wendy bakes here own pastries and makes the preserves from scratch as well. BEST B&B YOU'LL EVER STAY IN!!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are top notch! I think there is only one room with a detached bath, but all the ot...
