Great service and care for style and look of atmosphere. Great food. We had a fairly large family affair and they cared for us greatly. Attentive and well done. The bar is straight out of 1745 and if you love classic american food set in a revolutionary pub setting, this is your place. Top marks will keep us coming back...

We were seated in the Tavern section which had a nice bar and a crackling fire place, all very warm and welcoming. Some of the food was good, but the grilled calamari was terrible. The rest of my party enjoyed their price fixe meals, commenting favorably on the vegetable soup of the day and their entrees of Squab, Salmon and Steak. My Tuscan salad was very good as were the vegetarian spring rolls. Desserts were just OK and we waited for at least 15 minutes for them to arrive. The service was poor. We were not asked once in 2 hours how we were enjoying our meals, it was an apparent inconvenience that I asked for water with no ice to go with my Jameson's and the wait for dessert was just ridiculous. If this were a Denny's I guess I wouldn't be so critical but at 50 dollars per person I expect all aspects of the dining experience to be good.

A lovely and historic Inn! I try to dine here at least once or twice a year and am always pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food and the attentiveness of the wait staff. The chef is always able it seems to come up with wonderful and delicious ways to serve the raw oysters and I have come to enjoy and look forward to seeing what they have each time! A great place for romance or business. Always great selections for seafood and everything is fresh and prepared well. Have them make the Ceasar for two at your table! Highly recommended!

This restaurant always provides great service with an excellent food selection in an upscale, historic setting. The atmosphere was lively on a recent Friday evening with a full bar. Dining was especially intimate next to the fireplace. Check out the special offers from time to time - it is really an outstanding choice for a special occasion.

The hotel itself is rellay cute. The interior everything but modern, in a very good way. Everything is kneat and they have put a lot of thought into furnishing the rooms. In some rooms the bathrooms are tiny, but still fine. The restaurant is absolutely brilliant! Amazing food and excellent service. We were on a business trip there and it was a very welcome change to the average business hotel we would usually stay in.
