The food was fine but not memorable. Pasta was fresh but lacked seasoning. Certainly not worthy of a twenty-plus dollar entree. Our a la carte salads and appetizers were fresh but bland.

Ambiance needs improvement. Muzak "Volare" and the sort played the entire time we were there. The sponge-painted walls were probably meant to look "Tuscan" years ago. The carpet and window treatments are unattractive. There was dust on the artificial floor plant and the venetian blinds. The vibe reads "dated" and it's a shame, because this place could, with some updating, have a more welcoming ambiance.

Just not worth it for us.

I have now made this restaurant my favorite place to eat in the Western Suburbs of Philadelphia. It is small, quaint, the service is great and the food is outstanding.

We now make this our regular Friday night place to eat.

The menu has a great diversity, and the specials each week add another alternative to an all ready great selection.

It appears more people are finding Verona, so reservations may be recommended for a Saturday night. Remember it is BYOB, which is a plus.

Absolutely the best Italian cuisine in the Philadelphia area.

Great place, great food, and great service.

This restaurant is easy to drive by on Lancaster Ave if you don't know where to look. It's truly worth stopping in. We met friends at this BYOB last night as it was about halfway between our homes. The decor reflects cheery tuscan colors; not overly large floor space but the layout is well done and comfortable.

We all enjoyed our menu choices - all chicken and seafood dishes. Good, fresh flavors. Portion sizes are pleasantly sufficient. Dessert was a shared chocolate bombe which was delicious and plenty for two people.

Overall, we enjoyed the experience and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Pricing is moderate and the staff are fun and friendly. Well done.
