By far the best food I’ve had in the Lehigh Valley. They obviously think through everything about how you will experience the food. My wife had Lobster Corn chowder. The asymmetrical bowl came with just the lobster chunks and the server poured the chowder as we watched. I had Sweet potato rellenos, smoked tomato sauce, salsa verde, roasted corn appetizer. It was laid out on the plate like a painting and tasted as good as it looked. Mixture of textures and tastes. Dinner portions were surprisingly generous. I had the veal strip steak, cooked perfectly. It was accompanied by asparagus, broccoli, and mashed potatoes.
The staff was almost too solicitous. They asked about food allergies twice. They described each dish like it was their newborn baby. They brought me a sample of a wine I hadn’t had before. Obviously these people are excited about the food. This experience doesn’t come cheaply. Expect to spend $100 a person and to spend 2 or 3 hours. For that you get incredible food without the snootiness that often accompanies it.
We were there later on a crowded Saturday night. It was somewhat noisy and our table was next to the kitchen and bathrooms. If you want an absolutely perfect experience, perhaps a less crowded time and a more advanced reservation would help.
