My husband and I frequently stay in B&Bs and this one was probably one of the best experiences we've had. We stayed in the Courtney Room, which is the smallest, but it was nice. It was on the back of the house, so it was quiet. The room opened to a 'living room' area that is shared by 2 other rooms. The bathroom was really nice and there was a makeshift closet to hang clothes. The hosts pay attention to the little details such as providing shampoo and conditioner and a nice bar of soap. There were always fresh home baked cookies as well as chocolates and plenty of water and sodas in the fridge - a very nice touch.
The hosts were extremely personable, and were not the typical quirky hosts that B&B innkeepers tend to be. They were young and modern. I left like I was spending the night in my aunt and uncles house - I truly felt right at home. There is a game room down in the basement that is just charming, complete with a working train set, pool table, ping-pong and darts - we played them all.
Breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the house seems to be a place that people really want to come and just hang out. I highly recommend staying here.
This review is of the B&B and not Lititz, so I won't say too much about it - except that Lititz is truly a wonderful little town. We rarely return to places we've been, but we both agreed we'd come back here again.
The B&B is in walking distance to the CUTE town center and restaurants. It really is the perfect place to stay! Highly recommend.
