“Best breakfast!”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

They have a wonderful breakfast selection which will be sure to fill your tank enough to last all day! All the standard breakfast fare, but what's special is they give you a fresh donut and a small ice-cold glass of milk - FREE! Wonderful! Service was prompt and friendly. Plenty of parking. Imagine this place is packed during busy tourist season, so plan accordingly. Also, the adjacent grocery has some unique PA food items - especially their packages of "bulk" stuff. Good prices on large buckets of PA made pretzels too.

“Good choice with kids”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

We stopped by for an early dinner, kids were greeted with a bag of things to keep them happy. Good kids menu and better adult menu. We did not try the buffet but had plenty of choices. Our food was good also and well worth the price. Don't forget to check out the train going around the ceiling of the restaurant and a great food market attached to it.

“Now I'm full”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

Never a doubt that you will leave this place without opening the belt a notch or two. Good food, reasonable price, well supervised. Ham Loaf balls need a little more pineapple sauce, fish needs a little different approach, but the breakfast buffet can't be beat. You will be satisfied here. Will go again.

“Busy place for breakfast!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

I visited this restaurant 4 times and each time there was a short to moderate wait. I was disappointed with my last visit as I was charged an extra amount for egg whites vs whole eggs and for whole grain bread. Another visit I asked for dry toast and no added butter, but my order came back loaded with grease and buttered toast. Someone wasn't paying attention! It may take <10 seconds to separate 1 egg but certainly not worth an extra fee. I recommend this restaurant but be very clear about the menu item you're ordering. The wait staff however are delightful and very friendly and the coffee is very good!

“Country style average food”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

My family and I got hooked on the free donut and milk offered at this area landmark. All of our family have visited also. On our last visit we showed up at 1030 am and were given a number as there was a small wait..actually it appeared they were preparing for some group meeting a nd appeared they seemed under staffed. We didnt get to sit down till 1100 am T which time we were handed a lunch menu with a limited amount of breakfast items available and no donut and milk offered. We asked for the regular breakfast menu but were told we couldnt have it and this was the only choice. Needless to say due to their inefficiency we were disappointed in our forced choices .. we will not go back again for breakfast. I suggest to readers of this review to try Ida's Cafe in Roherstown on 741. Great breakfast and better attitude!
