What a fantastic experience!!!!!!! You can get very close to the animals, we learned so much about these beautiful creatures. Some were playing like puppies. They got so excited to see the guide with his hot dogs. At one point they were all howling and it was something to hear. We have adopted Solo, a very beguiling young lady. This is now a MUST SEE any time we are in the area. There is no government funding for this sanctuary, and you can tell all the people are there out of love for the animals.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the wolf sanctuary. They have dozens of animals and obviously care a great deal for them. The tour lasted much longer than expected, several hours in fact. I would love to go back any time.

In October 2012 my brother and I ventured to the Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz, PA. I have heard wolves howl in the woods, but never had seen them. We did not know what to expect, we were amazed on the number of wolves that were rescued, how they have adapted to captivity, but the Alpha male still rules here. You pay for a guided tour, the one nice thing is that Military and Veterans are not charged a fee, Seniors get a discount. The kennels are clean, the surrounding area is well maintained, there is a gift shop, but now place to eat.
We left the Sanctuary with more knowledge about the Timber and gray wolf, favorite wolf was "Winston".

Always had a fascination for wolves. The gentleman who gave the tour was very informative, answered all my questions and seemed very dedicated to his care of the wolves. Loved the stories he told.
