“Best Chocolate Ever”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2013

Most natives know you don't go to Wilbur's for their tour... because it's it's not the main attraction. If you want Hollywood dazzle- go to Hershey for a tour. If you want high quality chocolate - go to Wilbur's. It IS mostly a small collection of molds and a video like someone else mentioned. No factories allow actual tours inside where they make the candy anymore. Not even Hershey. Others in the know...know Wilbur's supplies Hershey with their chocolate base...or at least they used to. Regardless- Wilbur's chocolate is by far superior in my opinion. Their history is also very unique. Henry Oscar Wilbur came from a French heritage. He later brought over his two experienced chocolate maker brothers to help him. Be sure to ask for a brochure for the rest of the story. It amuses me how some turn their noses up to Wilbur's. I've had some of the best chocolate the world has to offer (including French La Maison Du Chocolate) and Wilbur's is right up there among the best. If you like Hershey kisses... you'll be forever in love with Wilbur buds. Smooth and creamy... and you can buy them in bags mixed with light and dark chocolate. An NO... I don't work for them. Maybe I should tho. ;--)

“Wonderful tour, friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

The smell of chocolate greets you as you enter the small town of Lititz, so of course that was the first place we headed by just following the smell! The self guided tour and museum are small, but very informative. Staff is available to answer questions. And there is a small gift shop where you can buy a large variety of chocolate items. Best fudge I've ever eaten!!

“Wilbur Buds!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

Recently visited with family and the moment you walk through the doors you are hit with the most amazing smells of chocolate. The staff was very friendly and chocolatiers were willing to answer any questions. We got to watch them mold chocolate and view different historical pieces they have of the company. You cannot leave however without trying the famous Wilbur Buds you can get a free sample and needless to say it caused us to buy a few pounds the taste is amazing and if your a chocolate lover like I am you will be in heaven.

“A Nice Quick Stop”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Stopped hear on our way to Lancaster and enjoyed it. Nothing too special but does provide an inside look to how chocolate in general is made. Chocolate was good and they had a wide variety of products. Self guided tour was ok really just looking at chocolate molds from different eras and a short video.
