““BLAST from the PAST” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We visited the park on August 31, 2013; couldn’t ask for nicer weather that day. We ranged in age from 10 to 79; all had a wonderful visit down memory lane. We were sorry to see that the park had removed some of the old favorites such as the “Caterpillar” and “Bears Den” only the outside wall and the sign telling what the exhibit was at one time remains. Didn’t know that the original wood framing for the “Rollo Coaster” was built by using the existing trees from the park when the coaster was original built, the track is only 900 feet long. This is a very child friendly park and I would recommend to family and friends for a walk through time where old memories can be relived and new ones made.

“Nice place”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We went to Idlewild over the Labor Day weekend. The place is quaint. It could use some updating to make it a little more attractive. The kids, age 6 had fun and that is what counted for us. We were a little disappointed that some of the rides were closed due to it being the end of the season. We were bummed that you still paid the same price and not all the rides were open. You can get discount tickets at Giant Eagle before you go.

“Great park for families!!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

This is a great park for families with young children. We love the tree-shaded kiddieland and Storybook forest. Old-fashioned, honest summertime fun. The Soakzone is a great bonus if your kids aren't too tired after all the rides!!

“Takes me back!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

My children are able to ride the rollercoasters & enjoy the whole amusement park experience. I get to re-live some of my best childhood memories walking through Storybook Forest. My kids really enjoyed Soakzone, too.
