“Great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Everything you want from a B&B - great location; comfortable room; friendly hosts; and a great breakfast. Was here a few years ago when I was last in Lewisburg, and the quality remains at a very high level.

If you are visiting Lewisburg, PA, it's the place to stay.

We visited Bucknell with our daughter and spent the night. Well appointed and spacious rooms with a koi pond in the garden. Easy check-in and very helpful and attentive staff. When my husband left his shirt in the closet after checking out, Bonnie showed up at the end of our college tour with the shirt! Now that is great service!

We stayed overnite here while doing a college visit with our son. Lovely rooms, a variety of setups. We had a rollaway in the Susquehanna Suite, which was fine. We walked into town for a lovely dinner

My wife and I stayed here on our way from NY City to OH. What a great place. Historical, clean, modern amenities and friendly staff. We stayed fro two nights in the 1857 room. Large, comfortable and very quite. We really enjoyed the breakfast of pancakes with lemon curd and fresh strawberries and sausage. The inn keeper was very helpful and pleasant. We also enjoyed the fact that you can walk everywhere in town. We will be returning.

Room Tip: All rooms are updated. We stayed in the 1857 room. Was excellent.

This is the first time I have ever stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. If all other B&B are like this, I will start going to these more often. It was the best overnight/travel experience I have had. It is worth going to if you are in the area or looking for a weekend travel trip.

This is a impeccable, charming B &B with great attention to detail. The breakfast was delightfully prepared with a new treat each morning. The fresh baked cookies in the lobby each night were a nice touch. The room was immaculate and adequate ,although a larger bed and mirror in the room would have enhanced the experience . Still, I would give this the highest rating and am planning to return.

Room Tip: Book early to reserve the larger room with king size bed(which we viewed but did not get).

As soon as you approach the front door you know this is a great place to stay. The B&B is very well taken care of, in fact the owners rebuilt the manor into the beautiful B&B it is today. They are wonderful hosts who make you feel like their special guest. The rooms and the bed are very nice. Before bed we sat and read in the library room on the first floor, very pleasant. The garden patio and the landscaping are beautiful, you can see the great care they have taken.
There was a place for us to store our bikes, after we rode the Buffalo Valley Trail. Our stay was a wonderful experience of hospitality and old world charm.
