I'm going to be honest… I do not expect much from restaurants in Levittown. However, after looking at the reviews on trip advisor, I decided to check it out. I have gone on 2 separate occasions. Both of which I was pleasantly delighted. The service was fast and friendly and the cuisine was fresh and authentic, even 15 mins before close. They had a wide assortment of German beers on tap and also and a delectable menu to order from… You definitely need to try it for yourself!

The Inn sits by the Neshaminy Creek in a small group of homes and buildings that apparently constitute Newportville. We are not familiar with the area, and our daughter suggested the Inn following a track meet at nearby Bensalem High School. We were all very pleased with our meals. The servings were quite substantial and very reasonable in price considering both the quality and quantity of the food. My Kassler Ribchen included two very substantial smoked pork chops, red cabbage, a large potato pancake, and apple sauce, and was excellent. My wife's Sauerbraten might have benefited from a bit more gravy, but the meat was tender and tasty. Our daughter and her husband had assorted platters which included a sampling of wursts and chops. Our service was friendly and prompt. They offer a large number of imported and craft beers, and we enjoyed our choices. If you are in the area, the Newportville Inn is a good choice for a meal.
