Fortunately, only spent one night at this dump. It was disgusting and depressing! Felt like I was at a seedy hooker hotel. Lots of construction at the motel. Would never stay there again! There are many other hotel/motel choices close by that are similar in price range that would have been a much better choice. Only one pro - the bed was fairly comfortable.

All we wanted was a night's kip after our transatlantic flight and before tackling driving on the other side of the road. For this, it was fine.

Pros: friendly, helpful staff; handy for airport; air conditioning worked till we switched it off; tv didn't work.

Cons: grubby during refurbishment; associated restaurant still closed during advertised morning opening hours; air conditioning wouldn't switch back on.

the staff smoked in the little lobby booth. It stunk.

When we returned late at night and turned on the lights, cockroaches the size of small coon cats scurried away from their poker game and ran in all directions taking their winning with them.

The hotel agreed to move us to another room, but we all ended up sleeping fully clothed on top of our beds for the night.

There is a Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel. It had fly tape hung in charming places, like right above your head at the bar.

There was one patron (who apparently worked at the hotel?) who sat at the bar and stared (in a Scott Peterson sort of way) at the young woman tending bar AND her young 9 year old daughter doing her homework and unfortunately learning the merits of a wholesome environment.

Don’t stay here unless you are hiding a dead hooker in your trunk and are looking to share the company of your peers.
