I stayed here one night. The hotel is pretty new and the room was clean. The room had a sofa as well as a small kitchenette with microwave and sink. Breakfast had more variety than most Holiday Inn Express.

The two problems I had was I was on the 1st floor and I could hear the person upstairs walking in his room at night and in the morning. The building floors must be made of plywood! The internet is also not very good with very bad connection and slow speed. They need to improve the internet speed.

Room Tip: Stay on top floor to avoid noise of people upstairs.

We were very disappointed with the overall experience. Non smoking rooms smelled smoky, dirty carpet and chair cushions. Bathroom drains broken, toilet ran all night. Breakfast was terrible, no yogurt, fresh fruit, or pancakes. The warmer tray was broken and no warm rolls. Would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel because of its location between Hershey Park and the PA Renaissance Faire. We were concerned because it is located in a seemingly rural area. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellence of this hotel and would go out of our way to stay there again! It was spotlessly clean (room, pool, all public areas), the bedding and linens were fluffy and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new. The interior hallways were well-lit and clean. The heated, indoor pool was clean and welcoming. Our room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. However, hot coffee and tea are always available in the lobby.

While the hotel lists a continental breakfast, I was very pleased with the assortment available. Considering that they don't have a kitchen, the food offered was much better than expected. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, assorted breads (bagels, muffins, french toast, muffins, and danish), cereals, bananas, apples, oranges, fruit juices, milk, assorted yogurt, and a pancake machine! Yes, a pancake machine! Press a button, and two freshly-made pancakes popped out in one minute. Think Easy-Bake Oven. Of course, coffee and tea were also provided. The friendly breakfast staff even provided a bag so we could pack some fruit for the road!

Speaking of staff, everyone we met was lovely. Courtney at the front desk was so warm and friendly! Helga in the breakfast area chatted with guests while keeping the buffet filled with hot food! She truly made our experience memorable. We felt like friends! Even the housekeeper was pleasant. I would stay in this hotel in a heartbeat! It was about 25 minutes from Hershey Park and 16 minutes from the Renaissance Faire. We stayed here by chance because our intended hotel was full. Next time, we'll choose this hotel before all others.

Room Tip: There was an elevator so I don't think there are any accessibility issues. The hotel was very q...

I picked this hotel at last minute as an overnight stay after a day at Hershey. I didn't read the reviews beforehand and am quite surprised by some of the positive reviews. I usually have no issues with HI Express but we could not leave this hotel fast enough. The only positive was the friendly ladies working the breakfast buffet.

However, the carpet was dirty. There were ants crawling on the night table. The refrigerator door was broken and the breakfast was not edible. The sausage had a shade of green. The hard boiled eggs tasted sour and even the muffins tasted stale. I really don't get why they don't even try. It has potential as the rooms are large enough and have wet bars. It is a sad, sad place.

I will never come back. It is not worth the $150 they charge. Next time, I would rather drive all the way to Lancaster where there are more choices if Hershey is booked.

Room Tip: Pick another hotel

This hotel seems to be in the middle of no where but is well worth the drive. The lady at check in was very friendly and promised a quiet room which is what we got. The room was very clean with a mini fridge. The free breakfast had a lot of choices and the hostess was very nice. Kids liked the pool as well. We will stay here again when in the area. We even arrived back one night to free popcorn and beer.

This is the best hotel in the area. We visit family regularly and have stayed at other hotels in the past and keep coming back to this one. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is great, the wireless is strong and they have a nice fitness center. The prices are also very reasonable and competitive for the area. Service is very good.

My family and I checked in June 29th specifically to use the pool and stay close to Hershey Park. We checked in around 3:30pm and the gentlemen at the front desk was nice and sent us to room 211. We did a once over and everything seemed normal, so we changed the boys into swim trunks and headed to the pool. Pool was not clear at all, couldn't see the bottom, but we weren't sure if it was supposed to be a salt water pool (cause that's all you could smell) or just dirty. After deciding to head to Hershey early instead of swim, we went back to the room and as my husband walked into the room, he felt a bug on his arm. Not seeing it, he thought it may have been nothing but decided to give the room an inspection. There we found SEVERAL bed bugs lining the floor board by the air conditioner unit!! At least a dozen and we grabbed the kids and left the room immediately! We went to the front desk where my husband told the front desk associate that we were going to need to leave and the reason why...he only said "okay, sorry about that" as if they already knew there were a problem. We took pictures and he didn't want to see them or go to the room with us to inspect himself, nothing but, sorry about that and have a good day. I pray they get an exterminator ASAP and clean this up!!
