We had 2 meals at the Inn while we were staying at the Inn for 4 days. A Thursday night dinner with family was very good and we also had entertainment provided by The Bricks which was an added plus. There was also a very good wine selection. Desserts were excellent and had I been a big eater, I would have gobbled every bite. As it happened, I had just celebrated a birthday and an engagement which did not escape The Bricks (as my nephew requested a birthday song). We came to know BJ (the proprietor) by the end of our meal and we had such a lovely time! Everyone is to commended.

We also attended the Sunday Brunch which was on the last day of our stay. Not being very big eaters, we could not speak to everything, however, the offerings were very tempting, but we settled for omelets which were excellent.

A lovely and fun place!

It had been several years since we dined here and were reminded why. It's March in Western PA, so it's cold out and we were seated in what could best be described as an enclosed porch. It was cold! and the space heater provided didn't help much. On Sunday, you can only get the buffet, which was not worth the money. The orange juice was terribly watered-down, the food on the buffet was only warm, and the made-to-order food was not very well cooked. Service was sporadic. I had to track someone down to get a fork for my friend whose silverware set didn't have a fork.

Our relatives took us here for Sunday Brunch on March 9, 2014. We enjoyed the food, the restaurant atmosphere and the waitresses. The owner made custom omelets for us and chatted with us while they cooked. As we ate, the owner came by a couple of times to see if everything was okay. All of the food was very tasty, from the breakfast items to the lunch items.

Excellent food and a warm inviting atmosphere. We went for breakfast Sunday morning (01/12/2014) and we were welcomed by the owner himself and his wife. We were seating immediately. It is a warm cozy atmosphere. The variety is delightful, there is something for everyone whether you want a customized cooked while you wait omelette or french toast or both. Our cups never ran dry. Our server was competent and efficient. We were there when they changed over to brunch. The brunch menu is quite impressive; there were ham and roast beef on the carving board. The total bill at the conclusion of out extremely filling delicious meal was very reasonable. It was a little more than half the cost of going to Eat 'n Park. I highly recommend going to Ligonier Country Inn.
