My husband and I stayed at the the Inn (Rose Cottage) on Sunday evening, February 19th 2012. It was President's Day weekend and we were both off on Monday. When we arrived and checked into our room were not impressed at the out side of the Rose Cottage it looked more like a large shed than a cottage. Luckily I saw pictures of the inside otherwise we would have immediately checked out. The interior was very nice and clean. The fireplace didn't work so we called the front desk and someone came right over and fixed it and when we asked him what time dinner was served in the restaurant he said the Inn was closed for the evening - it was 4:00 in the afternoon. So no bar or restaurant for our stay. The next morning we walked to the Inn for a continental breakfast of stale rolls, melon and stawberries. We would have been happy to pay for breakfast but again Inn was "closed". If I was aware of this I would not have stayed and paid the $151.00 for the night.
