We stood here for one night on a trip to sesame place.
The good:
Price
Location (3 minute drive from sesame place)

The: not so great:
Dated
Exterior room doors entrances
People walking by room at night

All in all a very average place. Would I stay here for more than one night? No, but for a 2 day trip this is just the ticket its cheap and clean enough.
By 11:00pm it also got very quite, We tried to go to bed very early (10pm) for an early rise the next day. The house keeping did seem a bit laxed compared to the sharp edges of your tucked in bed spread and mint on pillows/ triangle folded toilet paper you find at other hotels. Also the bathroom was small and shower drained slower than I would of liked.

So if you are saving your pennies to buy souvenirs in sesame and need a decent enough place to crash this is the right spot.

Room Tip: try to get a corner room away from elevator.

This is a no frills -- family oriented place mostly for mom, dad and the kids going to Sesame Place right down the street. It was clean, quiet and just fine. The rate is high for what you get, but if you plan to stay here in the summer, expect the Sesame place gang...

Have stayed at this location with our bobtail for about a year and have noticed a disturbing trend. We were being pushed out as far away from the building as they could. Under the excuse of our generator, (APU, auxillary power unit). Which youis cannot hear with doors closed. Which we needed to keep our battery pack charged. Also they do not offer a breakfast and had stopped having coffee in the lobby. Also odd for their location, next to a business park. Is their lack of a business center. Which drivers in our company need to print off receipts and directives. The rooms never have been up to good standard for clean. Wrote name in dust last stay. Seem to prefer college student get togethers on the weekends. Can be noisy with that crowd till early morning. Have decided to move this place to #3 on our call list for the area.

On 8-9-12 we arrived late. The rate was higher than we typically pay elsewhere. We are frequent travelers every week. When I pulled the bedspread back I found a paper brochure left behind from the previous guest and the bed sheets were obviously not changed. Gross! Found a raisin on the table by the phone and a baby pacifier on the floor next to the other bed. We told the front desk but nothing happened. I honestly slept on the bedspread in my cloths. The bed was bowl shaped so had to stay in the middle of the bed. This was NOT a good experience! The bathroom was so small you could barely turn around. The front desk person had no personality at all. Straight face never smiled, looked like he hated his job. He offered no help or assistance at all. The next morning we talked to a young lade at the front desk who gave back 20.00 dollars on our bill. Big Deal! Should have given us another room or at least clean sheets. No breakfast, no hair dryer,.
We apparently no the only ones to notice something about the beds not being cleaned. This place should be inspected.; If your in the area it would be well worth your time to stay across the street at the Holiday Inn. You may pay a little more but at least you may be sleeping in a flat clean bed. Plus they have a continental breakfast. Beware of this particular Red Roof Inn, it looks OK from the outside. Our price was just over one hundred dollars before they gave back 20.00. The next night we stayed at a Hilton Double tree for 109.00. Absolutely no comparison. A whole different class and a completely different experience.. This red roof is way over priced for what you get.

The room we had was a King room which was spacious BUT the carpet was a lil damp and My girlfriend or I did not want to walk on it without shoes. When I went to put a few drinks in the fridge there was opened water bottles left in the fridge which means the maid didn't even bother to open the fridge. Finally the bathroom was scummy meaning all the calk was moldy and it just was not up to par...I might stay here if I was in a jam in that area but if the place across the street had rooms I'd go there. Again very nice people at front desk and all just lack of cleanliness.

My husband, two children ages 8 & 5 and of course myself stayed here for one night after visiting Sesame Place. Nothing fancy about this hotel. Its a good one to basically just sleep in for the night or take a rest from driving. There is no breakfast included, just the cost of the room, Its about a 3 minute drive to Sesame Place (that's why we chose this one),and a very good price for the night.I searched around other hotles in the area and this one is by far the lowest cost and not bad at all. If you are going to Sesame place I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was very clean and the staff at the front desk was very nice. About 5 minutes after checking in the lady from the front desk called our room to make sure everything looked good. I thought that was a nice touch :) There is 3 floors and they also have an elevator whih is helpful if you have a lot of bags or have a stroller. They also have a printed sheet that tells you all the areas places to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are tons of places to eat within a 5 minute drive if not closer. Tons of different types of food and stores to go shopping too. I would go again.
