We ate here several times about a year ago and then went again last week. We have always enjoyed our meals, the really beautiful room and restaurant setting and find the service is delightfully friendly while being attentive. It may be a tad pricier than the average tablecloth restaurant in the area, but it is worth it. Food is good, well-prepared and attractively presented.

We had a great dinner on the outside patio. Our server, Tara, was excellent. She also had excellent back up from the other waitresses.

We were seated promptly as we arrived. Tara came to our table with the menus and took our drink and wine order. Everything came our quickly. (Maybe too quick...)

We had the potato leak and crab soup, tomato and mozzarella salad, filet mignon as our meals. Every thing was delicious.
The wine list was limited and expensive for the offering.

The patio is a nice setting. Maybe needs a little more bug control. The outside bar is nice too.

The entire property is very nice. We have dined inside before, and it was very nice. The traffic can be loud at times. Rt 413 is a busy road, so outside dinning has it's off and on noisy moments.

We has a great dining experience tonight.

Folks in Langhorne, PA have a treasure in their midst. Simply saying that two of us ordered the "Caramelized Pork Chop," and both agreed the best, ever! The Seared Ahi Tuna with Hoisin Glaze was also ordered and simply incredible. Nancy's service was on mark and made our dinning experience even better.

Normally we do not post negative reviews. We dined here at the Inn a few years ago, and had a wonderful dinner. We came this year on Black Friday. I knew it was not a good sign, when at 7pm other than a small birthday party on the other side, there were no other tables in their main dining room. Later a couple did arrive.

The Inn is beautiful, 1700s old, with a roaring fire in the center of the main dining room.

We think our server was new, we could tell from the way she reached across us the wrong way, and read all of the specials from the back of a pad. Not really asking how meals were to be cooked.

Our dinners just did not get properly cooked. Two of the steaks were way under cooked, the duck breast was well done, the veal was also well done. We sent back one the dinners, did not feel right about sending back four dinners.

In the end the server puts a 20 tip ($97) on the bill, for what was at best average service.

This old inn has the potential to be so much more. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day?

Bridgetown Mill House Inn – Langhorne, PA
On October 5, 2013, I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 49 people at this charming restaurant. From hors d’oeuvres to dessert, we received outstanding service and remarkable food. The owner, Kim, actively manages the restaurant, while her husband, Russell, is the chef extraordinaire. They are both friendly and engaging professionals that strive for excellence. They make sure you’ll have a memorable dining experience, for sure. They and their staff do a fantastic job. Kim provided ample, courteous, attentive servers, and bartenders. We didn’t wait for anything all night. I just can’t say enough about the incredible service and food. GOOGLE the name to see their web site. The pictures look exactly like the restaurant. This is a cool inn with fresh flowers on the tables. They also have an outside bar that our group enjoyed, stocked with all the liquors/wines anyone could want – first class. The portions of food were plentiful, especially the desserts. The dining room was tastefully illuminated while the glasses, dishes and silverware sparkled. Everything is extra clean and inviting. Inside are several fire places to add a romantic ambiance. So if you’re looking to celebrate an anniversary, or special occasion, choose this lovely Inn and you won’t be disappointed. Entrées range from $21 (chicken) to $31 (filet Mignon). A very quixotic atmosphere, I must say. Finally, be sure to do yourself a favor and pretend you’re rich - eat here at very reasonable prices.
