We went on an overnight trip with our three boys (ages 2, 6, and 7). When we entered the park, it smelled like urine. We went to the rope/climbing area and smelled urine everywhere. The park was dirty. While in the main pool, water area, with the big bucket, we saw a mother encourage her son to pee in the water. Next, my wife told a woman that there was blood coming down her leg, possibly due to her getting her period. The woman looked around and proceeded to lay in the water to rinse off the period blood off of her leg. UUUUGGGGHHHHH! The food center ran out of ice and the food was sub-par at best. It was chaotic and overcrowded. We couldn't wait to leave. The amusement games were overpriced and silly. Go somewhere else!

There is a reason you can't bring food into the place - money. Also, don't be fooled by the "healthy" food options. The PB&J - which is $10 by the way - is a packaged Uncrustables, everything else is deep fried, processed, frozen and not one bit healthy. The grounds had a stench that I couldn't place but definitely needed some bleach. I am shocked that the Sesame Street brand allows this place to operate. Totally disgusting.

The park itself is pretty amazing!

There are a ton of 'kid-friendly' rides, and other activities. There's also a kid-friendly water park encompassed within the park. There are also several shows - be sure to catch Elmo's World and Elmo Rocks (2-6 yrs).

The best part about Sesame Place is that you and your kids actually get to meet the characters, speak with them and take a photo with them (price included in admission). We got to meet - Bert & Ernie, Cookie Monster, The Count, Murray, Oscar and Zoe. Big Bird, Tully, Abbie and Grover are a bit more scarce. And no Harry or Snuffy (but does Snuff really exist anyways)

Face painter and hand-artists are neat for kids. LOTS of souvenir stores throughout the park, and some decent item - although a bit pricey.

Although most people were friendly and courteous -- expect some line-cutters, jerks, people without social graces, etc.....

Negatives: A bit of a rough-crowd. The food at the 'cafes' and 'bistros' is horrendous. The food-courts are beyond dirty (take a gander at the floors). Expect to see some human-sites that you never expected, and never want to again. Lack of places to sit in eating areas around lunchtime.

Positives: Kids LOVE it! The staff is amazing! (high-energy and very friendly). Lines for rides aren't too, too long. LOTS to do. Little kids water-park area. Decent price for admission. Late hours. Parking lot is adjacent to site.

Recommendations: Rent a locker if you opt to go to the water-park. Wear flip-flops or water-shoes (no telling what bacteria is on the floor). Plan to take a picnic and eat in your car or the picnic area in the parking lot (near the trees). Drink lots of water and wear sun-screen. Get in line for shows 15-20 min in advance. Reserve your spot along the parade route 20-30 min in advance. The middle of the route is the best, as you get the show throughout.

The time at the park was special. We purchased season passes with a package earlier in the year and were not disappointed. To our delight we had 30% off many things purchased within the park. Lines for some attractions felt long under the hot sun but could easily be forgotten once doused with cool water. Will go again soon.
