We stayed here during our weekend visit to Sesame Place. Great hotel for a small family. The room was a small suite with ample space for clothing and other items. The decor was modern. Arrive early for the continental breakfast before they run out of the good stuff.

We stayed this past weekend to avoid a block party due to personal family reasons and it was perfect!! The price was pleasantly surprising with its location to Sesame Place and the room was beautiful! The mirror is everything....perfect lighting! The free breakfast provided was delicious and the quality was great (except for the o.j...looked like and tasted like colored water). Checkout is easy, just leave the key card in the room.

My family and I stayed at HIE for 4 nights during our trip to Sesame Place and Philadelphia. The staff was nice and the hotel and room was very clean. The shuttle to Sesame Place is a great asset and the driver (we had the same one eat time) was very friendly and helpful. There were two negatives to the hotel - the bathroom and the breakfast. The toilets reminded me of airplane toilets (force of flush and noise). During the late hours of the evening and early morning hours, I could hear the toilets flushing of rooms around us, which hindered a good night's sleep. Also in regards to the bathroom, the light switch the the room with the shower and toilet is on the outside of the room. This posed two problems for us: 1. My 2 year old son would turn off the light while I was showering, 2. I had to turn on the light before entering the bathroom which is problematic when trying to keep a little one asleep. We had planned on saving a little money by eating the breakfast offered by the hotel each morning. The quality was lacking - soggy sausage and eggs. Some items were not replenished during our 30 minute breakfast. We decided that it would be better to spend the extra money to eat out for breakfast during the rest of our stay.

Hello Kristina F,

Thanks for your review of the Holiday Inn Express Langhorne. We are glad that you found our hotel and rooms to be clean. Our housekeeping team works very hard to ensure our hotel is spotless. We are pleased that you took advantage of our complimentary shuttle to Sesame Place. I'm sorry to hear that we fell short on our breakfast for you and your family. We work very hard to keep food items filled but this time we fell short and I do apologize.

Thanks for your recent stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again.

Just finished checking out from the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS and it was awesome . I stayed for 2 nights and Pamela along with Melissa at the front desk were the best at helping us with any questions and/or concerns . Don't have any complains ! The shuttle was always on call to the sesame place back and forth !

We decided to stay here last minute as we felt that this hotel could have accommodated us... Prior to checking in we requested early check in although when we arrived at 1pm, 2hrs prior to checking in, we were greeted by Paul... Upon arrival, he told us that our room was not ready and we asked him to please inform housekeeping that we were waiting... Well, to my understanding he did not, we waited 2 hrs to check in and after 3pm, they told us that housekeeping just went to our room at 3:23pm... I just lost 2 family members and just wanted a space to get away. I kept asking Paul to please check in with room service and he told me that it does not go that way and they go by a log... Moving forward, finally we checked into the room 5 minutes before 4pm, with 2 kids that was a lot. We tried to go to Sesame Place during the wait and the driver for the shuttle was gone for over 30 minutes.

The hotel itself was very nice, we wished the pool was indoor since it was raining hard. We stayed in room 318 and I love that room for our family, It was so big, clean and near elevator. The hotel was clean and presentable.

The customer service needs complete training and needs to be friendlier. I didn't expect much upon arrival. I would have been happy hearing him informing housekeeping that we were waiting for the room. I JUST WANTED A SMOOTH TRIP....

The breakfast was not so good, there was no pancake available, the eggs were very" plastic "The luncheon lady was not the friendliest and it was hard to ask her to simply refill the drinks. Overall the nicest person we met was Pamela and the young guy who drives the shuttle. I just wanted a quick weekend getaway with nice people.... The positive of this was the hotel ground. It was nice and provided free shuttle to Sesame Place. I am not sure if I would stay here again. My 9 years old words to me was: "Mommy, the people here are not so nice"

Room tip: 318 is very big.. but there is not spectacular sesame place view
