We decided to stay here last minute as we felt that this hotel could have accommodated us... Prior to checking in we requested early check in although when we arrived at 1pm, 2hrs prior to checking in, we were greeted by Paul... Upon arrival, he told us that our room was not ready and we asked him to please inform housekeeping that we were waiting... Well, to my understanding he did not, we waited 2 hrs to check in and after 3pm, they told us that housekeeping just went to our room at 3:23pm... I just lost 2 family members and just wanted a space to get away. I kept asking Paul to please check in with room service and he told me that it does not go that way and they go by a log... Moving forward, finally we checked into the room 5 minutes before 4pm, with 2 kids that was a lot. We tried to go to Sesame Place during the wait and the driver for the shuttle was gone for over 30 minutes.
The hotel itself was very nice, we wished the pool was indoor since it was raining hard. We stayed in room 318 and I love that room for our family, It was so big, clean and near elevator. The hotel was clean and presentable.
The customer service needs complete training and needs to be friendlier. I didn't expect much upon arrival. I would have been happy hearing him informing housekeeping that we were waiting for the room. I JUST WANTED A SMOOTH TRIP....
The breakfast was not so good, there was no pancake available, the eggs were very" plastic "The luncheon lady was not the friendliest and it was hard to ask her to simply refill the drinks. Overall the nicest person we met was Pamela and the young guy who drives the shuttle. I just wanted a quick weekend getaway with nice people.... The positive of this was the hotel ground. It was nice and provided free shuttle to Sesame Place. I am not sure if I would stay here again. My 9 years old words to me was: "Mommy, the people here are not so nice"
