Description: Just a few steps from the newly built Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, you'll find Annie Bailey's Traditional Irish Pub & Restaurant. It is Lancaster's only authentic irish pub and one of the favorite dining destinations in the county. Annie Bailey's is a pub for all ages and has become a staple in downtown Lancaster. We have created an atmosphere that you can meet here for Happy Hour with your co-workers and also bring your family in for dinner on a Saturday evening or Brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The menu offers the traditional Irish Fare as well some modern American cuisine. Our extensive beer selection has earned awards in the county and you'll find some great whiskeys on our shelves. The Pub is modeled in the Victorian Dublin style, which complements the Victorian-era building built in 1890 in which it is housed. This Lancaster landmark was previously occupied by the famous men's clothing store of Sayers, Scheid & Sweeton. The pub was constructed in Carrick on Suir, Co. Waterford and then shipped to Lancaster where it was assembled.

Interesting restaurant with an authentic Irish Pub atmosphere and wide variety of imported beer, however it barely had any Irish dishes; there were only about six dishes that were even close to "Irish Cuisine". I still recommend going there for a pint of Guinness and for the lovely atmosphere.

“Fun place to hangout”
Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in for dinner and drinks around 8:00. The staff was great and the atmosphere was really fun. There was a really good mix of people if you enjoy people watching. About 10:00 it turned into more of a college age scene and got very crowded

“A bit of the old sod!”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

The bangers and mash were the best I've had and one of our party said the same about the chicken pot pie. The shepard's pie was a hit as well. Excellent service!

“Don't bother”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

Have been numerous times hoping the experience will get better. It hasn't. Today was the last straw. Ordered the $13.00 Cheese Ensemble that consisted of 3 kinds of cheese sliced into the smallest portions I have ever seen (about 1.5 to 2 ounces combined weight; I'm a chef with a degree from CIA and know my portion sizes) , 2 strawberries cut into quarters, some grapes, and the bread left over from last week (Toasted so we wouldn't know it was old bread, but then you can call it crostini and charge $13). It's ok to get rid of the old bread this way but at least do it with a little flair.
