We were in the area with friends and had dinner here. We were NOT disappointed!! Everything we had was exceptional! As a matter of fact, we returned the next day for lunch! One in our party is gluten free and that was not an issue at all here. They have several options on their menu to serve anyone with celiac!
The beer was really great. Among the table, we enjoyed a variety. Everyone was pleased and impressed with the taste and quality....enough that we brought some home! The strawberry wheat was my personal favorite! Our friend said that the lager was the best he had had!
On the food side, we had an order of General Tso's Cauliflower. I don't even LIKE cauliflower, but it was amazing! My husband had the fish tacos, I had the lamb burger with sauteed veggies, one person had the gluten free cheeseburger pizza and someone else had the Cheesesteak Salad. Every single thing was just perfect! Our waitress was cheerful and checked in enough to be attentive, but not so much that you wanted her to stop bothering you.
The next day at lunch, service was MUCH slower. There were some large groups and the place was quite busy. I am not saying that it wasn't good service! I am just saying that it was much slower at lunch. My husband had the pulled pork, which he really enjoyed. I had the market salad (HUGE!! Double the size I was expecting!) and the reuben egg rolls. Our friends had the shrimp pizza (gluten free crust) and a repeat of the General Tso's Cauliflower. It was all quite good. If I am back in the area, this will DEFINITELY be on my list of places to eat!
They have a very small parking lot, so parking CAN be an issue. For our dinner, we got the last parking spot in the lot. When we went at lunch, there were no spots available. We had to drive around to find an area to park that did not require a permit. It required about a 2 block walk. No big deal for us, but if you have issues, that could be a challenge.
