We HIGHLY recommend the Pheasant Run Farm B and B in Lancaster. We were visiting friends, and they recommended this amazingly beautiful and well appointed B and B to us. Easy to get around Lancaster, wonderful food, friendly folks, the grounds spectacular! Our visit was in April 2013.

My wife and I and another couple spent one night at this very wonderful and possibly unique B&B near Lancaster, PA. We had reservations at the Sight & Sound Theater to see "Noah" (a great production) and this B&B was certainly convenient to the theater. All reviews of this B&B that I researched were very positive, and we soon learned that this was well-deserved! The structure was "magically" converted from an old stone structure barn, and the architect that the owners hired certainly knew what he was doing in the transformation, leaving many "exposed" stone walls. The grounds were jaw-dropping to look over. This is a many-acred rural place, with bridges, tree-houses and a large horse corral/exercise area (I believe that there are about three horses on the premises). Really, there is just too much to describe- check out the website as it gives a great description and video. They have weddings there, so that speaks volumes that folks want their "most special day" right there.
My wife is very meticulous about dirt, dust and mold. Not sure how they do it but this place easily passes the "white glove test." Spotless...immaculate. There are wonderful touches around the house without being cluttered or "prissy." We guys can feel comfortable there ! We felt as if we could have stayed much longer...must go back!
They have a variety of different-sized rooms with various price structure. We looked at all of the rooms and you really cannot go wrong. There is one first-floor room with handicap-accessible features that I am aware of.
Breakfast was very pheasant...er...pleasant. Beautiful dishes and glassware. Multi-servings. Not the "best" breakfast I have experienced at a B&B, but solid and upper-tier, certainly.
I heartily recommend this B&B for folks that appreciate architecture, landscaping/grounds, very clean and dust-free surroundings, and friendly hosts.

Room Tip: Really and honestly, we viewed all rooms, and they were all VERY nice. A few variances such as one...

We stayed here 2 nights for a wedding and had such a wonderful time. The folks that run the place are awesome. We look forward to getting back there. The room was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic. Such a quiet hide away but with modern amenities.

My wife and I just stayed here for one night and felt so welcome and relaxed. The restored barn had amazing charm and warmth and plenty of common space to sit and read, play games, or chat. The grounds around the building are private and peaceful on a small country road with horses roaming nearby and plenty of outdoor seating and gardens to enjoy. The breakfast was amazing and the owners were very pleasant to talk to. We highly recommend. We have been to about 10 bed and breakfast around the US and found this one to be the best so far.

Room Tip: We stayed in Catherine and found it to be very spacious with double sinks, large clean fresh bathroo...

My boyfriend Jeff and I recently stayed at the Pheasant Run Farm and we had a fabulous time. Their hospitality was great and we enjoyed every breakfast. Our room was amazing and we felt very comfortable the entire time. We are already talking about going back for a weekend this coming up summer. Bob and Vivian are the best! We had so much fun with them!

Just spent 2 nights at Pheasant Run where Bob and Vivian were the most gracious, warm and welcoming hosts. The B&B is beautiful, very well-run, the food is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable and lovely. Absolutely top notch. The inn is only a few miles from downtown Lancaster so accessible to many things of interest. Beautiful grounds even in early March. Definitely put on your "must go" list.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. A couple rooms have fireplaces if that is of interest. One room has 2 single...
