Went to Aussie and the Fox with my Mom last week and boy was it a treat for me!!

As a celiac I struggle to eat out and often am too afraid that restaurants don't understand what gluten is even when they have gluten free options - trust me it happens! Was such a relief to go to the Aussie and the Fox - the food was delectable, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was bubbling and most of all the menu LABELS what is GLUTEN FREE!!!! Amazing...

All in all, a great night with no stomach upsets and no embarrassing conversations with kitchen staff trying to explain that bread is in fact gluten *shakes head* ...

I highly recommend the Aussie and the fox to all celiac sufferers as a great place to go with friends and family and not feel like you're missing out on all the good stuff!!

My partner and I visited Aussie and the Fox for the first time with another couple. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. The chicken was delicious and so was the Aussie pie. We were all very pleased with the entire dining experience and will definitely return. Be sure to make reservations well in advance for a weekend night.

We were in Lancaster for the day and we're actually on our way to the Neptune diner and happened on this place. Decor is modern and lunch menu is small but innovative. Lots of beer, wine, and coffee (they even have their own menus!).
I has the blt-e, which is their variation of a blt, but they added a fried egg on the sandwich. The tomatoes were smoked tomatoes and the lettuce is arugula (yum!). The bacon is slab bacon and there's plenty of it. Got the side salad with a tasty aged date vinigarette dressing. My partner had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. This was interesting on that they include a soft boiled egg with the entree. The egg was cold. Hard boiled eggs are ok cold, but soft boiled eggs really need to be at least warm. In addition, the Caesar dressing had more anchovy than it should and was a bit overpowering. That being said, this is the type of place that we would go to again.
