“An Old Freind”
Reviewed August 27, 2012 via Local Picks

Right next to the historic Lancaster Central Market, this place has been with us locals for a long time. Same owner, same crew, same pretty darn good stuff. When my wife and I go to Central Market, (YOU SHOULD GO - trust me) we always go to DIPCo, and have lunch. Some nights, go to DIPCo. Meet friends for food and drinks, go to DIPCo. Now, it's not like we go every night, but more like 8 times a year, and we still love this place. The other reviewers are pretty spot-on in the wide variety of comments. Who knows, you may find a new friend; our old friend. Food/soups always seems to be very good.

Thank Rick H

“Atmospheric and reasonably priced!”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

The bar/restaurant is located between the Central Market and the Prince Street parking garage, so very convenient.

Tables were crowded about 5:15 p.m. on a Friday, but glad we got a seat. We both ordered burgers, which were less than $6 and tasted fabulous! The great waitress recommended the potato salad and it was delicious! The macaroni salad was oddly flavored. Seemed to be a great selection of Pa. beers.

The bar itself has lots of charm: tin ceiling tiles, old-fashioned wallpaper, caberet-style chairs, dark wood, etc.

“Not bad but nothing to write home about”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

The food was good but not great. The service was good, but not great. The menu variety was good. The decor was a bit odd and it's a bit cramped but it is right next to the Central Market and I guess that's what the draw is. Eat here or don't. It's not a destination unto itself.

“Good selection at a good value”
Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

You know that Sienfeld episode where they want a restaurant that has every type of foods on the menu? Well, this is it. They have burgers, burritos, stir-fry, seafood, you name it. I didn't get the feeling that they were fantastic at anything, but they were good at everything we ordered. The food was fresh and tasty and the prices were very reasonable.
