You’d never know it’s there. Actually, you HAVE to know it’s there in order to find it. Tucked away, around the back side of an aging strip mall on Dillerville Road is the most fantastic little Ethiopian restaurant called Addisu. This husband & wife team serve up some of the tastiest Ethiopian specialties I have eaten this side of Philly & DC. All of their dishes are bursting with flavor. Don’t go expecting a fancy-schmancy atmosphere, because it feels like you’re eating in an old classroom. Food is served on a huge platter in the middle of the table and you grab the food with pieces of stretchy flat bread. Order 2 or 3 entres and make sure one of them is their vegetarian sampler which consists of 6 different samplings. Also try their coffee. It’s brewed at your table with a clear laboratory looking coffee machine contraption and is better than watching a since fair project. This is one of the best kept secrets in Lancaster PA.
