Make sure you go into downtown lancaster to explore, & the park nearby is a great place to jog, play tennis etc. also, there's bowling lanes right around the corner so come planning on doing fun relaxing or rejuvenating things! The innkeeper Anne was wonderful, great food & conversation, also helpful in finding things to do.

Having been a frequent traveler to Lancaster County for the past fifteen years this location was truly a great find. There are cheaper lodging alternatives for those on a budget, but none of my previous experiences matches this one for luxury, comfort, and hospitality. My girlfriend and I arrived to a great welcome from Elaine the Innkeeper who gave us a tour of the facilities and our beautiful cottage. It was wonderfully adorned, spacious, and had all the amenities of a five star hotel while maintaining the charm of a Bed & Breakfast. The view of the river and the grounds from our private patio was exquisite. The service was exemplary and breakfast, which was delivered to our cottage, was served promptly at nine. The fresh baked treats and original entrees were excellent and consistent with B&B expectations. This was truly a romantic experience for our first trip together and provided memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend it for those celebrating a special occasion or just looking for the perfect escape.

My husband and I arrived at the Bed and Breakfast and received a personal tour by the lady who owns and operates the place. And the house is beautiful! We stayed the night in the "cottage," which was absolutely stunning. And has a great shower and jacuzzi tub as well! We had a lot of snow around, but the location and grounds are breath taking. The history of the land is very interesting too! The next morning, we had breakfast delivered to our door and boy was it yummy! Very personalized, very good!
Would highly recommend this B&B to any and all travelers looking for a place to stay in Lancaster. It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth the 10 or 15 minute drive to all the attractions... isn't that the point of coming to Lancaster?

We were looking for a bed and breakfast within decent driving time to Gettysburg, PA.. Drive wasn't bad at all. Home is very clean and peaceful. If you are looking for a decent night sleep with a good breakfast this is the place. No tv's in rooms and nothing really to do other than sleep/relax within walking distance. People who run this B&B were very kind and the woman of the house can really cook!

My wife and I stayed at Rocky Springs partly for business and partly for pleasure. The B&B has a unique history, having once been in the midst of a popular amusement park. Remants of the park can still be found on the grounds, such as popcorn stands and roller coaster cars. The B&B is newly remodeled and well furnished. There is also a separate cottage on the grounds. The hosts gave us a peek at the cottage and it is very nice. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. There is a photo album on the coffee table with photos that appear new, but were taken when the amusement park was active 40 years before. It is kinda wierd to see the photos and to see how some of same amusement park structures look today. The B&B is outside of Lancaster and is an easy drive to Amish country. This is a great get-away spot to relax, and the breakfasts are great.

If you want a nice, quiet place in Lancaster County this is the place. It is out in the country, but very easy to get to all the attractions! Lovely home and setting - a great Anniversary get away!
At first it's disconcerting how close you are to the hustle and bustle of RT 30 but you quickly realize that the location is ideal and the rest of the world seemingly melts away once you get out of your car.
